Kelly Johnson sucks.. I really hope that Prado or Infante get the starting job at second base soon.. Kelly’s defense is going downhill, and he can’t hit a thing.. The Braves should have traded him when they had the chance.. Trading him for Ryan Ludwick would have been brilliant on the Braves part..

And speaking of Marcus Giles……….that is who Francoeur reminds me of. Marcus Giles had a couple of really good years for us. Dude was a doubles machine, knocked in a few runs for us. Yet when MLB pitching figured him out……he simply didnt have the ability to make adjustments. He eventually flamed out.
I see the exact same thing happening to Francoeur.

I had same reaction on that being changed to a hit.

ok dave I am not blasting frank for the Pitching changes . I love Javier Vasquez .. he gets no help though and thats an awful shame.. His record means nothing.. Derek Lowe is in a funk and that was a good signing . dont discredit that.. Jurrjens love the kid and same thing his record doesnt show what his . Love Tommy Hanson.. Love the nate mclouth Trade ok.. but we need a bat and we are watching other teams make moves and we are doing nothing… Garrett anderson is earning his money now .. i apologize for saying he is worst GM.. I love the game and hate watching this team just flounder and continue to stink it up. there are problems here and we need to address them.. My beef is with The ownership. You never hear anything from the media group about taking this team seriously..

Folks, this is a bad baseball team. If it weren’t for a dominant effort by Tommy Hanson they would be losing this game. Please explain to me Bobby Cox’s logic???? In yesterday’s game Cox chose to bunt with Blanco on first, nobody out, and Martin Prado at the bat…why not let Blanco attempt to steal with a good bat (Prado) and the deliberate Wakefield on the mound? Today, Bobby blunder chooses not to bunt after Garrett Anderson’s double in the sixth, nobody out, and Casey Crotchman at the plate…WTH kind of logic is that????
On top of that, KJ fails to do the very simplest of things…bunt a runner into scoring position. To add to Bobby’s unbelievable STUPIDITY, KJ committs two errors in one inning and could have cost them the lead. He takes out the pitcher (O’flaherty of record in that inning) and leaves dipshi! KJ in the game. I am done with Bobby. What the HE!! is it going to take to FIRE BLUNDER!!!!!!!!! This is absolutely a horrible team. They sit back and wait for things to happen and their manager further facilitates this ineptitude.

Nice going Soriano. If the Braves can hold on, then that will mean that we lost another series 2 games to 1. While we havent been playing well the last month, at least we are avoiding getting swept.
If we can just hold on until Frank Wren can make a trade, then maybe we can go on a winning streak.

It’s kind of hard to beat the best offensive machine (Brazil) in the world when you let ‘em have the ball for a solid 60 minutes. After Donovan’s goal in the 27th minute, Brazil probably had 80-85% possession.

braves 73 man that is one change that needs to be addressed.. he just needs to be told to retire.. his style just stinks.. its long gone and from the 80’s and 90’s… we just need a face on this team that will hold these players truly accountable.. cox just doesnt do it anymore.. his mentally during a game of the world of run manufacturing and small ball is not there. he doesnt believe in it.. im sure this team would be fired up and refreshed with a new face and an aggressive manager..

I’m so sick of the All Star game. I’ve voted with three different emails 75 times but if the average couldn’t-care-less Braves fan isn’t going to vote at all it won’t matter.
As if there is any doubt about it, Bud Selig is the worst commissioner in sports. He’s a National League guy who’s seen them lose 11 straight and yet he decides to give home field advantage in the World Series to the winning team and still let’s the fans vote.
The NL is not going to win with fat ass Yadier Molina and David Wright. And if nobody wants to do their research and look past JJ and JV’s won/lost totals or Soriano and Gonzo’s number of saves then the AL is going to keep on winning.
It’s a bunch of bulls***. Chipper, Brian, Yunel, Nate, Javy, Jair, Gonzo and Soriano all need to be on the all star roster and if they’re not then **** it.

6 runners in scoring position and nothing to show for it is not so good-especially given the fact that the TED is such a difficult place to get home runs this year (even for visiting teams).
