Chipper Jones will be fine. Chipper just has to be going through a bit of a slump right now. However, one he bust out of it, he’ll be show you once again why he is “Chipper Jones”.

You guys have to remember, even a .300 hitter makes an out 7 out of 10 times. Let’s say that Chipper has a stretch where he goes 15 for 35. Well, in order for his average to fall back down to .300, he has to go 0 for his next 15.

Meanwhile, our defense is really not good. Not only did Hernandez make a bad play, but Garrett was late backing that play up. Just giving runs away.

Feel bad for JJ. Lowe had a piss poor performance last night but there have been so many more performances by him and our staff that have just been wasted by this offense which is totally inept more times than not. I tune in everyday trying to see what new ways we can invent not to score. Bobby needs to call out some of these veterans like Anderson and Chipper if he’s going to do the same thing to Escobar and blame it on lackadaisical play. If he’s doing it he’s only following his “leaders”.

Actually, our AAA defense (and the balk) SET UP the possibility of a run scoring on a grounder to 2B. Drew just did what he needed to do to get the run in.

I can name you about 4 (or 8) guys on our roster that would have either struck out, popped up, or hit the grounder to anybody else but the 2B on that play, failing to get the run in.

Or do you think that if the Braves were given that same exact opportunity, they deliver the RBI?

People wonder why the Braves have only won one World Series. This game is an example of Braves baseball under Bobby Cox.They have lost more 1 run games than any team I can think of.Bobby doesn’t know how to manage close games. It’s been said by many managers,”if you stay close to Cox,he will give you thje game”.Players have come and gone and players are still being blamed for his shortcomings. It really puzzles me that MANAGEMENT allows one man so much leverage. He’s allowing this Team to drown because he will not admit defeat. It pains me to see a once proud franchise become a third rate franchise. All because one man is so wellthought of.This TEAM needs a change and I don’t mean players. The Braves look bad and are playing worse. Why is Management standing silent. If this were the Dawgs or Techies, you would hear a howl that would wake the dead. And thats the way the Braves are playing, like a dead man.I guess a team reflects it’s manager.I feel sorry for people that really love The Braves.Please,Mr.Wren ,hear our plea, feel our pain.Let Bobby GO.
