I’m in LA but I live at the beach- pretty much 75 and sunny all summer (ducks out of the way of pitchforks)- it does het very hot downtown, where I work, but not usually until end of July, and then stays that way through end of September into October (can get over 100 regularly)
Thats Good that You watch this Garbage team, it means that you are loyal to your roots…And not A bandwagon-jumping Frontrunner…Unlike most sports fans that live in Atlanta…

I saw your gaffe on McLouth. I must admit, I was terribly disappointed. All I could say to myself, to cheer me up, was that it must have been an imposter.
A question… why in the name of all that is holy, do you not have Jeff the inept just bunt the guys over? Because we are gearing up for a big inning against Beckett? All we would need is a sac fly to score one. Bobby, do you stil have a pulse? Every run in a game like this is critical.
SEE!!!!! Ortiz just made us lose with that one run.
Something’s wrong with my cable. They keep showing reruns of Braves games. Tonight it’s the one where Francouer strikes out on a pitch about a yard outside with runners on base. I’ve seen this one over and over.
Braves have scored 2 runs in 6 starts against Beckett and he is 5-0, yet Bobby refuses to bunt Frenchy with 2 slow runners on.
Frenchy bunts them over. Ross hits a sac fly (which he did) and the game is 1-0.
Instead, Ortiz hits a homer the next inning, the braves are down 0-1, and the game is almost essentially over with how good Josh B. has been pitching against the Braves.
At least the Braves help A-Rod and David Ortiz get back on track.
Oh, those missed opps by the Braves in the third and fourth … you just can’t do that against Beckett if you hope to win. He ain’t gonna give you many chances. You’d best take advantage. Braves did not.
Seriously, this offense is just F-ing PUTRID. Jair Jurrjens should be 9-2 this year. The Braves are a joke. It’s official. I can’t wait for Bobby to retire.
This is the same God Damned BS game after game! To top it off, we Braves fans are stuck with that little pecker head Chip! What did we do to deserve this?

How many wasted chances are they going to have tonight to score runs? Now Boston has the lead and I will bet any amount of money that one run holds up and Braves lose tonight.
I will admit something right now. During the Skip Carey years, I was not a big fan of his. But Jesus God Almighty, I wish he were still here right now. At least he didn’t constantly suck up to the other team like that snot-nosed brat of his. Obviously, Skip missed a time or two over the years when he should have been whipping that boys ass.

it doesnt matter if that is the only run allowed by jair….with our offense that could very well do it. so sad. i dont feel for anyone in the lineup. i really am starting to feel very sorry for jair. if he were still playing with detroit he might have close to 10 wins and an automatic all star birth. instead he is pitching in obscurity with a punchless offense. i know he is paid to play a game but so are countless other major league starters that get run support. its just sad. he deserves much better than this….
For those who missed it, McCann’s out of the lineup after complaining of lightheadedness last night and today. Bobby Cox said he was going to get checked, but it’s probably just heat and the four-hour game last night, etc.
Francoeur told me that when Mac picked him up today — they came to the ballpark together — Jeff thought he might have to drive, because Mac was a little dizzy or whatever.
I’m not sure how much more of these road team fans I can take.
A lone run by JJ and it came at the most predictable time of the night. Run yourself out of inning after inning and you’re setting yourself up for a momentum shifter.
Nobody’s convincing me that the Dodger’s are the best team in baseball. For all I know they Sox have surpassed them in the standings so to speak but if not they’re still the best team in baseball and for second time in a seven day period we’re letting them off the hook.
Where have I seen that before?
