Perhaps the Braves players and Bobby should yell at each other, rather than looking to always blame the umpires. How do you NOT swing at a 3-2 pitch that’s close? Is Garrett the leadoff hitter trying to start a rally, or the cleanup hitter with 2 guys on, less than 2-out and his team trailing 4-0?
2 on nobdoy out, and we’re gonna get NOTHING.

I would like to see Eddie Perez as manager and Brian Jordan to join the staff. He will get in people’s faces. Fire Cox, trade Chipper, DFA Anderson and lets rebuild behind (McLouth, McCann, Escobar, Heyward, Freeman, Hanson, Jurrjens). Keep Prado too.

Yes, Chipper’s new contract extension was a bad idea. It puts the team and Chipper in a bind if he suddenly can’t perform anymore, now and in the future. He’s already walking wounded and playing hurt most of the time, which is commendable. But were Chipper to blow a knee or something else……Wren will be crucified. Fair or not.

We are REALLY missing Omar Infante. Escobar is hurt so we have to play Diory. Chipper could use a day off but if Prado plays third than Kelly has to play second. So pick your poison.

THWG, i agree that fans shouldnt vote for the All-Stars, especially since the All-Star game determines home field in the WS now. If the game was just for fun then i dont mind fans voting. But why wouldn’t you vote for the players that give your league the best chance to win the game ?

RHR, I just heard about it this week so I assumed he died not long after it was reported.
Not like it would be on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. I was kidding about that.
It didn’t surprise me. If you’ve seen that Wilco movie you had to feel sorry for the guy. Literally nothing Wilco has done since Summer Teeth has rivalled or surpassed their ’90s work.
Listening to and attempting to enjoy Wilco music has been an increasingly laborious and exhausting endeavor in recent years.
They’re on my **** list as my sister-in-law might say.
