Paul Lintz! Paul Lintz! Paul Lintz!!
And the never trade Jeff mess will begin again.
June 24th, 20098:27 pm
How much are the Yankees paying A-Roid?
And there’s your run for the night! Francœur launches a hanging slider into the left field seats.
Skip is dead buddy. Try again.
Ugh. Attaboy Frenchy.
Just as Braves were announcing that Kawakami has a contusion to the right base of his neck, Francoeur goes deeeep.
No X-Rays on Kawakami, he’s day-to-day.
Joba should know better than to hit Francouer’s bat like that!
Finally some good luck with Frenchy..has been hitting the ball hard…..
WOW, jEFF WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How much would it kill all the Francoeur-haters if we won 1-0 on his HR?
Jesus ESPN tiotally missed the homerun. That’s twice!
HEY PAUL LENTZ– HOW’D THAT HANGER LOOK
Brooklyn Braves Brawler
Back to back KJ.
Whoops, too soon.
Well I am a speechless sommab1tch, Stenchy just went yard….My eyes are decievin me!

How good would we be if Jeff figures things out
June 24th, 20098:28 pm
Atta boy frenchie!
Medlen a switch hitter
I guess thats good news on KK, could have been worse. Thanks DOB.
Espn ssobs-ughh!!missing a frenchy homerun is like missing a lunar eclipse!
They really need to put Joba back in the pen
come on! You can manage more then an “ugh” can’t you??
Frenchy has put some good swings on the ball the last couple of nights. Hit it hard the other way last night. That was a shot.
I’m not getting the game on ESPN. What a shame.
Bobby Cox Hat Tipping Club
Medlin made me breathe a little earsier that inning. Looked effective instead of tentative.
For those who might remember: The Braves threw a combined no-hitter in 1991: Mercker for seven, Wohlers in the eighth, Pena in the ninth.
I swear everytime i write something about a player/coach they do well!
June 24th, 20098:29 pm
Wow Yank broadcasters are pissing me off
ESPN says KK has a contusion to the base of the neck on the right side. No x-rays.
Rob..do pigs fly
Paul Lentz, there goes a hanger out of the ball park for ya. I’m not trying to be antagonistic here, just wanted to point it out for you!! Hopefully he can get hot
What did that spark to……14 divisional title
Medlen was a SS in college- he can hit
I sure do hope Frenchy starts doing more of that, holy smoke. Gotta feel good for him.
Okay, so he went. Let’s go Nate!
June 24th, 20098:30 pm
Hopefully it turns out OK for Kawakami.
I love Mclouths swing
UNREAL. Well, there’s your right handed power, lol.
Now that was a hanger that had “put my a$$ in the cheap seats” written ALL OVER it. That is what I was talking about when I said that Francoeur needs to DRIVE hangers. Chamberlain hung that mofo and Francoeur FINALLY made the pitcher pay for it.
Before you guys start saying “He’s coming around”…………….lets see Francoeur hit 2 or 3 more homers in the next week. That was Francoeur’s first homer since the Chicago game 3 weeks ago when he hit one off of Kevin Gregg.
Damn, Nate just missed one.
DOB whats your attendance guess for the game?
Skip is Acting like a Knob
June 24th, 20098:31 pm
Alright, he has money on the game for sure!!!!!!
ca..medlen was a shortstop at santa ana community college..not really sec baseball
Mets winning 4-0 in 5th, Marlins winning 3-0 in 5th, and Phillies losing 2-0 in the 5th.
Interested Observer @ 8:27….LMAO
Way to go, DOB. You can jinx like no other. lol between you and Chip…I swear.
I told you people Medlen was a stud. No reason for him to not be in Bennett’s spot.
I know Paul, we just had to bust your chops dude that’s all!
June 24th, 20098:32 pm
Cmon Frenchy, please let this be the beginning of your comeback. That would be perfect
As long as ESPN doesnt bring it up.
June 24th, 20098:33 pm
It’s Good Francoeur Hit A Homer But A Bad thing In that He will Think He Is Willie Mays Hayes from the Second Major League In That “He’s A Power Hitter Now”
A-Rod’s average is down to .204 after that out
Johnson’s avg is down to .220 after that out, and that’s a more heavily weighted .220 than A-Rod’s .204.
June 24th, 20098:34 pm
damn mets and fish are winning…least the phils are losing
Good rip Frenchy!
Now hurry and trade him while his value is higher than it was a month ago!
With All The Complaining About BSPN Calling The Game Tonight…Makes me glad That I get To Hear Chip…If he stays away from the Cubs He’s ok to listen to…
Gardner up to bat
For those who might remember: The Braves threw a combined no-hitter in 1991: Mercker for seven, Wohlers in the eighth, Pena in the ninth. – DOB
I saw that game!
Chip pullin’ HARD for the Yanks to get a hit.
June 24th, 20098:35 pm
perfect game gone
ESPN.com has “braves perfect through 5″ on their home page, way to ruin it…
There goes the perfect game.
Please tell Chip to stop talking!!!!
There goes the perfect. No hitter still intact….for now ~_~
Well, there goes the combined complete game…
June 24th, 20098:36 pm
Come On Medlen…
Hold The Runners Close…We Can’t have The Bankees Running at Will on us Tonight…
quick move by medlen
About Frenchy…I am not trying to suggest he is back or anything. But I really think that his glove is more valuable than the other players the Braves have to replace him right now. I think the trade off by putting Diaz in there defensively offsets any improved offensive numbers he may put up, and I think it’s debateable that he is an upgrade offensively after watching him last year when he did start every day. If Frenchy could only just get on base more frequently, I think he would be fine. The power can come from other spots in the lineup, too. It’s not just him that is underproducing from a power standpoint.
the hope of the braves nation rests in your hands mr hanson
damn, do you think that chip carrey purposely tries to jinx us?
Go sit down!
YEAH Medlen……..sweet pick off!!!!!
Meds got a nice move to first! whoo hoo!
Yeahhh!!!! Good Throw Kris!!!
Medlen getting thoe outs, but boy he throws alot of balls, needs to get ahead of the batter more often
He got picked off!
I LUV a pickoff!
Medlen, the aforementioned stud just got a little pick off action!
Medlen you are a stud
atta baby Medlen!!!
Good stuff baby!
June 24th, 20098:37 pm
toss joe’s ass
Give me a break Yankees.
Sit down. You couldn’t see **** Joe.
Wow keep talking about the no hitter guys. Nice work.
You are not supposed to mention the obvious but Chip is just running off at the mouth like a rookie announcer. He must not have watched the nmovie ” Fight Club”!
A pick off at first, Wow!
Come on, fight! fight! fight!
Where’s Chipper, go out there and cuss some more!
Pennski………..Just like I dont get too “down” when Chipper goes 0-20 (after all, we know that when Chipper busts out of he………he will hit more than 2 homers a month)……….I dont get too excited when Francoeur hits a homer. I remember when the WHOLE board lit up 3 weeks ago when Francoeur hit that homer against the Cubs. Many of you were proclaiming the slump over it.
Well, three weeks later, Francoeur finally hits another one, and many of you are saying “wow, maybe this will propel him and jump start him. After all, he’s been hitting the ball hard, lol”.
Let’s see some CONSISTENCY. Let’s see a hot streak (you know, where a hitter has a 10 game stretch where he hits 3 or 4 homers, 3 or 4 doubles, and 12 RBIs, while batting .400). I want to see a high average AND power. When Francoeur had his recent 7 for 18 stretch….he only had 1 double. That isnt going to cut it.
Point is, I need to see far more than 1 homer every 3 weeks.
Giradi wants to get tossed
he wanted to get tossed, needs the motivation for his team!
AND he did
Joe still works out
He was safe, but we’ll take that.
June 24th, 20098:38 pm
hhehehehehe he was safe
Yeah – it’s like he told the ump to throw him out. I have to say he was safe. Horrible call.
wow..the umps missed that call..we got a big break
That was weak, Joe. After you get rung you’re supposed to REALLY go off on him, not turn around and walk off. Wuss.
Na Na Na Na, hey hey hey goodbye…screw it we needed a break we never get those calls
He was safe. We get a break.
A break goes the Braves way???
Throw him out!
Bad call, Braves caught a break. He was safe.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
