I just can’t figure out why KC would do that. Andt it’s not just this year, he has another over-paid year still on the contract. Would KC pay half of that? I doubt it and I don’t see the Braves paying him 12 mil next year. I could be wrong about that, but I know for a fact that I don’t want them paying him 12 mil next year.

No, I hear you. I think the thing that seperates the Marlins, is that they seem to have a pretty damn good grasp on analyzing talent. Whether it’s their own guys they draft and develop, or the guys the snag from other teams in the trades they make.

Chipper used a light-brown bat left-handed, IIRC, and a black bat right-handed. I see he’s now using a black bat. Is he using the right-handed bat from the left-side? If so, for how long has this been going on.

I noticed last night and tonight that Chipper is using his black bats when hitting left handed. The black bats are the ones that he normally uses right handed and are lighter. Any idea if Chipper is feeling a little weak from the left side?

One more thing I forgot to mention that EPSN actually did was that when you have veterans around, then kids grown up watching them. They made a comment about how all the Atlantans have been watching Chipper over all these years.
That’s how you create a fan base, a la my sports marketing class in college. How many different kids have the kids in Florida grown up watching? I’m sure that contributes to attendance.

Yup, big cricket fan, originally from India. Amazing win for Pakistan. I picked them over the chokers from South Africa and then Sri Lanka. Pak bowling is again pretty good with some of the younger bowlers coming thru. I hope they are able to play in IPL.
