That 2-1 pitch from Acosta was every bit as good as Mo’s first two pitches to KJ.
It’s the difference between a young pitcher and a HOF closer getting “respect” from the call.
I’m not so sure Cabrera was actually out at home. Looked like he slid in under the tag. Since were on the topic of bad calls.

Oh, that’s right. The Braves had to use relievers others than Soriano, Moylan and Gonzalez. Whenever that’s the case, unfortunately for the Braves, it’s a crapshoot.

For those of you calling GARRETT ANDERSON “LOAF,” I would disagree. He gives all of the appearance of an aging ball-player whose legs are gone. When we cut him in the off-season, and IF he signs with another team. then consistantly runs down routine flys like the one he allowed to fall for a double, well, that’s when I’ll call him “LOAF.” He’s just over-the-hill.
BOBBY has put DIAZ in to bat in the ninth. He rakes left-handers, and is BC’s best option in that situation. U-u-h, RIVERA IS a lefty isn’t he?

Acosta pitched like 10 days ago. Same time Medlen pitched. In the meantime, they’ve had guys like Soriano and Gonzo pitching in 8-2 games….we definitively need new skipper on this team…please retire..for your own sake…
