“A-Rod has hit eight of his nine homers at Yankee Stadium. Jeter has hit seven of his nine homers there, Damon has hit 10 of his 14 there, and Teixeira’s has hit 13 of his 20 homers there.”
I don’t understand why mlb would let them build a stadium that is clearly designed to boost offensive numbers. Hmmm…A-Fraud is projected to make a run for the HR record and now he gets an artificial boost by playing in a stadium designed to be a launching pad. How is that in any different from players using steroids as far as the integrity of records are concerned?
This is a script in the making. A-Rod slumping. Yankees stinking. Ump misses call. Girardi tossed. Backup catcher homers to tie game and fire team up. Slumping A-Rod to the plate with the sacks loaded. Does he break out with a monster slam?
????? your up 0-2 and you throw one right down the middle of the plate?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Why did you put in Cox and why is he even in the Majors??????????????
I don’t know what that was…ESPN keeps saying “He finally caught up to the fastball”….it was straight as hell…I don’t see how it was a slider, but he should’ve thrown in the dirt at least twice. Didn’t throw A-Rod anything but fastballs. Terrible.
Oh…and lest we forget Sutcliffe saying how brilliant it was that Cox had given three different pitchers for ARod to face….like he planned it that way. How do they get away with this crap?
