I used to really like Joe Simpson, but he is becoming extremely difficult to listen too.
lets go Big Mac
June 23rd, 20098:10 pm
I wish the would let Sutton and Powell do some TV
Rob from sc
cmon b-bomb for big mac
Come on Big Mac…get the run in.
June 23rd, 20098:11 pm
Joe has a man crush on kj and frency but he will be really quick to point out when escobar does anything wrong
Love McCann! He is a beast
So closeeeeee. We’ll take it though.
Mcann comes through
nice!!!! should be 2-0
i was close! nice job mac!! again.
Sutton is great but Powell never says anything.
I <3 Brian McCann
I am glad we have a professional hitter up to bat..GA who is hot!
Yeahhh There We Go B-Macc!!!
Chipper Should’ve Scored…We have the Slowest Team in The Majors!
Canadaian braves fan
keep voting Braves fans at http://www.newblogofbraves.blogspot.com
McCann is money.
Another RBI double. How come Chipper didn’t score from first with two outs?
Dude can hit…
Go BMac! Go BMac!
BMAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! McFann, lovin that man tonight
Well can’t blame Mac there, NICE
Great bat, terrible arm
June 23rd, 20098:12 pm
gotta like that
Wang is breathing easy because thats a 3 run homer at Yankee Stadium.
Bravesfan Because he only bashes select players. He has no problem calling Escobar out, but it is a love fest for KJ and Jeff Francoeur
I’m likin the rally boys! With 2 outs!!!
lets go GA, 2 rbi
Loaf is not happy with that call.
okay loaf, get us a couple more
I just realized Garrett has his batting avg. up to .283
June 23rd, 20098:13 pm
Oh yeah, I’m lovin’ it!
(If that would have been a homer, it would have made up for each stolen base! But that’s a start…)
I guess Joe Simpson has man love for Frenchy and KJ since he can relate…due to his own career avg in the low 200
I am positive that the blog should be shut down during games, as there are way too many negative comments for my comfort.
Thank you LOAF
Andy came through!
LOAF GOT IT DONE.
Steve from OH
What’s gotten into Loaf lately? I like it…
who wants to trade GA now
Mama there goes that LOAF!
Say what you want about him, but Garret Anderson can hit
June 23rd, 20098:14 pm
Some of the denizens keep knocking him, and Anderson keeps knocking in runs….
Loaf has definitively made up for his lack of foot-speed on that line drive to the wall with that RBI double.
Garret Anderson is earning some of my love.
There We Go Loaf…!
Its About Time We Get and X-Tra Basehit with ducks on the Pond Nice!!!!
I think G-Anderson got wind of all the haters on here calling him loaf!
You’re still slow though LOAF, I’m not taking that complaint back
i’m not impressed at all with kotchman
I am positive that Garret Anderson is a professional hitter.
Holy Cow- love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and CK goes out with a bang, lol
Where are the GA bashers now?
June 23rd, 20098:15 pm
Chip likes saying “fisted.”
Garret said, hey I remember you Wang from my AL days. Double.

I live in ny, when i do watch braves games they are usually the other teams channles. Right now i am watchng the Yankees channel. I get to only watch the braves when they are playing in sportssouth, never peachtree. When i do i enjoy watching Boog,
LOAF!!! I still don’t really like you, man, but you’re sure making it hard not to lately.
DOB Some of the denizens keep knocking him, and Anderson keeps knocking in runs….
Maybe it’ll work for BMac’s D…?
I think we just found our LFer…
A little 2 out damage. Nice to see Escobar take a base…Seriously, we need to do that more…
June 23rd, 20098:16 pm
If GA keeps swinging like that then his defense will or should get a pass…sometimes. He looks awesome at the plate.
Loaf just needed a little time to recover from not having a spring training, and his leg issues and to get used to NL pitching.
Anderson is still the worst LF’er in the game. Could have gotten Dunn for 2 million more. But he is driving in runs….
yeesh Tampa. Philly has 10 runs only 5 earned.
Load is raking!
This is the Loaf I’ve heard about!
Time for Hanson to have a “plus” inning!
Boog is ok, except for reminding us of Facebook every five minutes
I meant Loaf is raking.
The Flying Dutchman Riaan Spanjer-Furstenberg has Danville’s first homer of the season. Julio Teheran has given up one earned in 3 innings, striking out 5 while walking none.
I sure wish they’d play McCann at first. At least some. Better do it very soon, or it’s going to be a Piazza-type situation, where he’ll be completely focused on his stats as a catcher. Or even a Chipper-type situation, although he did move to LF for the team.
June 23rd, 20098:17 pm
GA has really stepped it up, but he shows no FIRE. he hit that double and just had that sad face. Get excited
That’s what I’m talkin’ about Braves.
Heard it on the radio. Don Sutton is seriously losing his mind. He said Joe Girardi threw the ball into center on the stolen base by Yunel.
I mean that’s just crazy *&%#. How do you not catch yourself saying something like that? He does that a lot if you listen to him.
Whatever, 3-0. Come on Tommy.
Loaf is a professional hitter and doesnt have time for such things as fielding
Loaf shoulda had a triple there…gotta get outta the box quicker…(hey !!!…somebody’s gotta biatch…might as well be me)
THAT JUST HAPPENED!
Calling him Loaf is not a knock, it’s a term of endearment.
Someone please tell Joe this is Hanson’s 4 start not 3rd
1. 2. 3.
Should be 1-2-3 inning for W”o”ng next inning. Though Hanson might reach.
Mac’s D is fine. his Stick more than makes up for it
Hanson Is about to get into a Groove!!!
In all seriousness, GA has been a huge part of the offense the past several weeks. With the comical ineptitude of Frenchy and KJ at the bottom of the order, GA is a godsend making sure those cancers don’t kill the patient altogether.
June 23rd, 20098:18 pm
I only knock GA’s defense which is below average at best.
Nice K, Tommy. Keep that goin, cute butt
John…loaf is no ricky henderson…he is 37 years old
I apologize if someone already posted this. I just jumped on the blog. The Phillies are winning by 10.
does hanson remind anyone of halladay?
Rob from sc
He sometimes cracks me up, i remember last year he impersonated a guy from the increadables
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
