You want to know why look at Schafer, Francouer, Francouer came up from AA and has no plate discipline.I know that Heyward has very good eye, but i would rather lets him get a taste of AAA. That league will really show us what we can expect. The kid is 18. If he is good right now imagine him following A, AA, AAA then MLB,, He will learn everything and know what to expect.

Double A is a tougher league than AAA. AAA has a bunch of roster fillers. Look at Heywards numbers. They are much better than Francoeur or Schafer. Put him at double AA with Freeman for the second half of this season. If they hit then they are ready.

Good stat that they just showed on McLouth. Last 5 games, 8 for 21 (.381), 2 homers, 2 doubles, and 8 RBI’s. Now that is what I call a “mini hot streak”. When Francoeur went 8 for 21 a few weeks ago, he only had 1 double. Keep that in mind before some of you jump on the “oh, Francoeur has turned it around” bandwagon.
