I love Prado
Man They Keep Ramming the Promos Of getting PPL out for the Red Sox And Bankees Games
Honestly I couldn’t Put up with their Bandwagon fans at Tooner Field…I’d Probably end up Getting Violent With their Obnoxious bandwagon Fans
Nova Scotia Steve
That was a Wendy’s Way Better Play folks…Now I want a big bacon classic
Man, I miss Omar Infante!
Diory would not be there if Omar were here!
Kinda stating the obvious, don’t you think?
June 22nd, 20099:18 pm
Bobby’s, I think you’re exactly right. Javy’s taking it to the house.
javy is like the GD’d terminator…..relentless
McLouth of the South
Well I’ll be damned.
Frenchy with two hits and Vazquez DOES come back out.
Dense Paul has to be crying… tissue in one hand, peter in the other.
Jerald, True that – Omar will be back in two weeks. He will be welcome with open arms im sure!
Javy can’t buy a close call
that’s 110 pitches for Vazquez after that walk.
That’s another one of those right by Javy.
Two outs, that’s what counts.
June 22nd, 20099:19 pm
When is Omar going for rehab
McL – Is it Dense Paul or Paul Dense? I get confused.
his high for the year is 115 pitches.
Now Javy’s getting frustrated with the strike zone.
Nova Scotia Braves
Forget That I need A Big-Boy Baconator with all the Fries you can give me, and a Big-Boy Side Salad…!
You can’t Walk F-U-Dome That was dumb!
Jeff’s swing looks more fluid, faster. I am no frenchy apologist, he has been an atrocity in cletes when it comes to hitting with RISP the last few weeks, but I think he may be listening to the right coach, and tuning out the other 250 right now.
ray k………………yes, you are wrong. Francoeur is getting his “punch and judy singles”, however driving the ball with some authority (you know, like hitting one off the wall for a double or better yet, a homer, lol) is something that Francoeur has yet to do. Francoeur has 1 homer since early May. 1 FREAKING HOMER!
I’m surprised that Vazquez came out for the 7th. Hopefully he can get this guy out.
Lash La Rue
Oh He!!. Give Jeff a million $ raise and put a peace sign in RF.
Where is Escobar???????????
Traded to a Japanese team for cash considerations.
June 22nd, 20099:20 pm
Remember it was Vazquez who said he doesn’t believe in pitch counts…if a pitcher feels good and is effective..let em go!
this should be Javy’s last hitter
Ok lets not let his arm fall off.
June 22nd, 20099:21 pm
What is the status of Omar Infante???
When Francoeur hits more than 1 homer a month, then get back at me about how he has “turned the corner”.
You got this, Javy V.
Does Anyone Agree That Vazquez has been just as good if not better than Lowe…?
I was a hater of the Vazquez deal but he has impressed the hell outta me this year…! And well worth the investment!
ROB SC – He is scheaduled to come back after the all star break. So its nice to have the week off. So I would expect him to start getting ready during the off time – that is if he is ready to go. I am hoping like you. We sure could need him.
Bravesman…Omar should return around the All-Star break
June 22nd, 20099:22 pm
Escobar gets him there
Dammit dammit dammit.
OK hook him Bobby, he’s out of gas.
Dammittt!!! Esco Would’ve Gunned Him Out!!!
That’s why you want Escobar in the game instead of Hernandez.
bullpen…………………..if bennet comes in I’m killing cox myself
GEAUX TIGERS! 5-4 TEXAS BOTTOM OF 7
doesn’t look like Javy will make 7
Yunel’s arm definitely makes that.
That Diory guy is worthless.
Damn great job Javy. Should have been out of it.
woulda been nice to have Escobar at short on that infield hit
June 22nd, 20099:23 pm
Peter, please do not throw a wild pitch.
Come on let’s get out of this.
I’m picturing n picturing this with RAW and I have to admit I haven’t laughed so hard from actually being entertained by it for a long while.
Vazquez has been MUCH better than Derek Lowe.
Petey-Pab Coming In…!
He Will Come Correct and get us out of this, “Bank On It!”
Nove Scotia steve
Thanx, not that far away
Ya i think it might be time for the hook. Lee crushes Javy and he may be a bit tired.
June 22nd, 20099:24 pm
Provided that none of Javy’s base runners score…he would tied for 10th in ERA and leading the NL in Ks. Isn’t that an All-Star-like resume?
Ohhh I see….So our good friend Peter gets to screw this one up…awesome
I think we might change it to Peter Paul
Mitchell – Yunel hip flexor deal again. Day to day.
Sure do miss Yunel’s arm! And we miss the arm of a reliever. Maybe we’ll pick up 4 or 5 before the deadline.
Moylan vs. Lee.
Does Moylan stay in the fans good graces by getting him out, or does he go back to being “oh great .. here comes Moylan”
I don’t have a good feeling about this one. I hope we get “good” Moylan and not “bad” Moylan.
COme on Braves I wanna burn a cubs ball!!
RobSc – I think a lot obviously will dictate what happens with this homestand. If we lay down than I would think Omar will get all the time he needs. That’s an obvious post here I know but I wouldn’t rush him if we lay a huge egg here in the next 10 days.
Did Manny Acosta do something to Bobby Cox or his family.
June 22nd, 20099:25 pm
I guess Bennett was really worn out after pitching last night!!
Oh no, freakin Moylan. That is bad news
Moylan has been better lately, maybe because they have never seen him b4??
All right, let’s pick him up. Dude’s been pitching his a$$ off all year.
Is anyone actually suggesting Kotchman bunting one of our slowest runners into scoring position for Frenchy, Diory and the pitchers spot?
I know Jeff got a hit but come on.
Moylan, lol. Bobby is stubborn. Dude is way too INCONSISTENT to be pitching in the 7th inning in tight situations. In 26 innings pitched, Moylan has allowed 25 hits, 17 walks, and 2 hits batsmen. 44 baserunners in 26 innings pitched.
Bennett coming in next?
Hand injuries take a long time to heal. Even when he comes back I won’t expect him to really drive the ball.
Did anyone think that the old fool would put someone else in there?
Moylan’s gonna get ‘em here!
June 22nd, 20099:26 pm
Yeaaahhh! There We Go Petey-Pabb!!! That’s You Baby!!!
There we go!
Yes!!!!! Way to go Moylan!!!
nice, picking Javy up.
SOS, eat a turd!
Tiger Woods heckler
Does Diory Hernandez do anything well. NO range to the left or right and an avg arm. And he can’t hit. What a waste.
June 22nd, 20099:27 pm
Good job by Moylan to give Javy a chancet at the win.
Braves have Gonzalez and Soriano for the eighth and ninth. Let’s hope they bring their A game.
Good going, Moylan. I didnt say that he wasnt able to get hitters out. However he has been nearly consistent enough to warrant pitching in the 7th inning of tight situations. With Moylan is like a crapshot, a coin flip.
Okay, whatever happens from here on out, do not let Gonzo pitch with a 1-run lead. He’ll give it up.
Actually Prado would probably be playing short stop….all of you jump on Diory w/o realizing that the one INF position Omar doesn’t play too well.
We Better Get Some Insurance Runs! I do Not Want to see Bennett in this Game…
That’s right Cubs. You got nothin’!
“Good crowd tonight” says Boog. Does that mean they’re going to stop whining about the fans?
Braves, give me some runs. Please.
Ok so I live in West Chicago, and Ive got the guys over and we are going either burn a Braves Ball or a Cubs Ball depending on won wins this game, I hope its the latter!! GO BRAVES!!
Moylan’s stuff was actually pretty good yesterday. I don’t like side armers, but his stuff look filthy for the 1st time this year yesterday….hopefully the stuff is just as good pitching back-to-back games…
Way to bring up the shut out, Boog. I hate when they do that crap. Just like yesterday when they put the homerun thing up seconds before Bennett took the mound and ended the game with one pitch.
Even though Tyler Flowers is having a good season, I am 100% glad we got Vazquez. I am really beginning to rethink trading him unless we get a number 1 prospect in return.
I love how everyone is just ripping into Diory…lol…its pretty funny
June 22nd, 20099:28 pm
TnBrian. FU strong letter to follow.
Braves win 1-0 that would be really cool.
I meant to say “he hasnt been nearly consistent” in my last posting.
Rob SC – I was thinking the same thing … but hey I have run out of things positive to say with this team anymore. So I am hoping his recovery will be quick and strong.
Gonzo better pitch in the 8th, two lefties up for the cubs
Bobby, dear Bobby. How doth thou plan to screw this one up? You have so many options at your disposal.
Well, I guess Moylan is done for the night. Bobby never leaves “Good Moylan” in for more than 1 hitter.
Moylan got the out, Francoeur caught it.
Police were called out to the Lentz household as son Peter Paul beat the hell out of his blow-up doll. More at 11.
