Toledo was an ok place to grow up - the best parts were the zoo, HotDog Johns, Tony Packos, the Mud Hens (saw a lot of Yankees come up),the park system, and going up to Lake Erie. I've lived in Spokane, Wa/Couer d"alene Id for over 30 years now and there's no comparison. We have jobs, clean lakes, mountains, and great housing prices. Toledo has a Maumee river the color of coffee, and a feel like it's the Allentown that Billy Joel sang about.
