Love the stealing of bases. Stealing is not just about speed. So when people say the Braves don’t have the players to steal bases, I think we now know that isn’t true. The Braves need to continue to be aggressive, they obviously can swipe bases and help make up some for a lack of power.

Have to give credit to Bobby for at least not sitting back all the time and waiting for someone to drive the ball.

The comment about Joe and Boog(er) being like The View is right on. This back and forth crap about the Philly Enquirer’s citing a blogger’s speculation about whether or not Ibanez (or whatever his name is) is ‘juiced’, basically wasted an inning. Don’t know if ‘the booger’ really believes his point, but it would seem to be the same thing as speculating if Boog’s hair style is derived by using the same ‘gel’ as Cameron Diaz in ‘There’s Something About Mary’? I’d put this on their ‘facebook’ but I don’t want to get ‘em started about that lame subject.

Tomahawkin – it’s not just that….Turner Field’s been playing the same tired, boring songs and sounds for years. And not to mention that extended G chord on the organ at the end of every inning. What conversation is going on in the sound booth?

Mitchell

Kelly is in shut-down mode.

He’ll probably hit ten homeruns and thirty rbi’s in september when we’re fifteen games out.

Or we trade him so that doesn’t happen.

If I know anything it’s that one of these days Kelly’s going to hit a homerun, and then he’s going to hit another and then maybe a double or a triple and he will do this for many days and perhaps then he will stop and eventually return to his current state.

I know this will happen, I just don’t know when.
