Paul…………better hurry back in here hon, if you go over your hour again it’s another 20 spot
Nice heads up play, BMac!
June 10th, 20099:05 pm
Good job, Big Mac.
I am tired of the supporting the braves
Paul, i was not aware that he was at 111 pitches, but damm he looked good last inning. give the boy a chance to earn a win.
lol, now that was funny. Dude’s initial reaction (he didnt act like he got hit) is what did him in. What a break for the Braves.
rob from sc
Any hockey fans on the board, if so, do the Pens have a shot tomorrow night
Steve from OH
In the comments section Jason Churchill offers some commentary on Atlanta’s draft.
OH, NO MOYLAN…PLEASE LORD!!
Rob, it’s one game, winner-take-all, everyone’s got a shot.
June 10th, 20099:06 pm
That’s some serious control to be able to hit the knob of a bat fron 60′6″
I like that “hit the knob” strategy, bet it ould work every time
Come On Easy-E!!!
June 10th, 20099:07 pm
For the love of….
Well, that was a hell of a play by KJ anyways…
GODDAMMIT WAKE YOUR ASSES UP OUT THERE
Damn it Esco!!!!
You’ve got to be kidding me. What a dumb play. You’ve got to pay attention Escobar!
Escobar giveth and he taketh away!
On My Gawd…! Another Mental Error…! Thats What I hate about ESCO!!!
Good job Escobar, Bobby won’t bench you for being a dumb @$$, but he should!!!
Escobar took a damn nap
What a disastrously bad throw by Escobar.
A non-double non-play. Woo hoo!!
told you eirc would blow it
yunel, yunel, yunel. a sign of lack of concentration. the braves gets on their own way
I hate this team
June 10th, 20099:08 pm
WTF Braves? ALWAYS giving runs right back after scoring them.
Credited with an infield hit and RBI on the runner scoring from second, because he never slowed as he rounded third
Game Over!!! Gotta Get’em Tomorrow!
Why is the pitcher coming out? He was doing fine, it’s Esco’s douche again that screwed him over!?!
is this Moylan
One of those frustrating games today…
Paul Lentz, Not all women are needy. I also like to come home after a tough day at work and chill while watching the Braves game. That is why we have 2 TVs in our house, and my wife doesn’t mind my baseball obsession. She also has no problem with me spending a significant amount of money on my Falcons season tickets, nor does she care if I go out drinking with the guys. Just because one gets married doesn’t mean one has to give up the things you enjoy (except hooking up with other women, of course).
He should sit after that
Eric dinn’t blow it. Our SS was playing spectator.
I don’t understand how a guy can get as far as Esco and not keep his head in the game any better than that.
June 10th, 20099:09 pm
You “fans” still think the Braves will score 3 runs?
Yunel makes another numb skull defensive play. What else is new.
Holy cow! Escobar’s lucky McCann got that ball…otherwise they might have scored more.
Course, we all know how good McCann is at belly-flops.
June 10th, 20099:10 pm
Moylan Is In, Not Good!!!
How many times has Cox called for the intentional walk and it comes home to roost?
MFin04, yeah, bench your best clutch hitter, that makes a lot of sense.
Escobar has a ton of talent but he has some of the worst baseball instincts in the league period!!
Escobar sure loses focus easily. All the baserunning blunders and now that play. Talented player, but these mental gaffes are growing tiresome.
I am tired of the supporting the braves………..I understand you position about Jurrgens going good and wanting to see him get the win. However Bobby doesnt want to take the risk Jurrgens injuring him by running up his pitch count.
Damn, for all the great plays Escobar makes, he sure makes some boneheaded ones. He should know that the first obligation is to look the runner back to third, not trying to catch the runner off first base, especially when there is a runner on 2nd base.
bobby is throwing in the towel by putting moylan in
Bobby should pull Esco right there and make a point. He has had soo many mental errors, yet Bobby does nothing. You don’t have to speak Spanish to yank him out of the game, he’ll get the hint.
What has happened to Escobar? Is Anderson rubbing off on him? Is he just bored with baseball?
How many times, HOW MANY F#K*N^ times are we gonna have to put up with Anderson, and FAILURCOUER popping out with a runner in scoring position????? How much longer can these 2 worthless sons@b&^ches gonna ruin this damn team???
CMON WREN, Get these BUMS outta here!!!!
June 10th, 20099:11 pm
MFin04 – Don mentioned that it is because of the matchup.
Moylan, COME ON!!!
good job moylan, lets put it out of reach now.
Braves haven’t 4 in a row all year…and can’t do it against the Pirates…at home.
Oh…and throw a strike Moylan!
Chop It Up All-star
Is this the good Moylan or the bad Moylan?
WOW, a Moylan walk
June 10th, 20099:12 pm
Why do we continue to pitch Moylan??????????????????
Ay-yi-yi. Dammit Moylan – one out. ONE OUT.
Moylan doesnt throw strikes why doesnt Bobby understand that.
man bobby gave up on a 2 run deficit wow why put moylan in regardless of what happens this could be a huge inning for the pirates there you go lead off walk before i can finsih
here we go again.
….looks like the bad Moylan.
We can’t win with Bobby and the helm. It makes no sense to put Moylan in when EOF was pitching fine!!! FIRE BOBBY!!!!
Moylan, if you don’t shape up I’ve got a TON of names to start callin you
And somebody should put a boot in Escobar’s ASS
Prince Albert in McCann
I think that Brian McCann should be starting in the All Star game.
What do YOU think McFann?
Phew. Let’s score some runs man.
but that walk made the pitching change look like $hit!
Not all women are needy.
did our True Fan really say all women were needy? Really? Is it safe to assume he’s single?
Get a run, give it back…. Bobby Ball
June 10th, 20099:13 pm
he should get an ass kicking right now by the team and Bobby – Unacceptable play
Can We Get 2 (Exepletive) Runs Please…Cheese-Whiz This Offense Has been so Inconsistant over the last 2 years!!!
Moss < Failcouer
Reliever comes in walks bases loaded then swings at very next pitch.
Jeff, Kelly, pinch hitter.
This might not take long.
Something about Brian Moss
Moss = Pittsburgh’s version of Jeff Francoeur
They have as good a chance at scoring 3 runs as they did 2. And that is to say it’s a pretty remote chance.
June 10th, 20099:14 pm
Might be getting close to time for the Braves to move Kris Medlen into 7th inning duties. Moylan, until he can consistently command his pitches, is always a dicey proposition. I think Moylan will get his command back with more work coming off of TJ surgery, but for the time being, it might be best to put him in lower leverage situations.
Yes! We’ll have Blanco (I think), McClouth and Escobar in the bottom of the 8th.
Sounds like a good idea to me.
VOTE McCANN 2009 ALL-STAR!!!!
Time for Norton and Franceour to STEP UP
Fred…………….you are fortunate to have such an understanding lady. However, I simply cannot see myself only having sex with one female for the rest of my life. That is why I enjoy doing the “no strings attached” or “friends with benefits” kind of relationship. We can hook up and go out when we want to…yet go home to our separate ways.
It seems to work fine for Bill Maher.
June 10th, 20099:15 pm
Can we bring the gecko back for geico? What the heck are these ape-men doing dancing around to 3 Doors Down?
Hah – ABravesFan was thinking the same thing about Moss (at the same time).
Escobar’s F*** UP is not as bad as Bobby Cox continuing to play Francoeur and Anderson. Somebody should bench Bobby Cox
Paul, bobby has a pattern of keeping his pitchers out there longer than he should. why make the exception with jj. he brought a reliever in and they score. i get it. damn if you, damn if you dont….cant win either way
Chalk up the bottom of the 7th as no runs scored. I mean, duh. BUT, the eighth might be different.
Errors, walks, bonehead plays…yeah, we’re dishing out too many of those. However, If there was only one thing I could change, it would be giving us some more offense. Tonight is a prime example….giving up 3 runs through 7 innings is not bad…but scornig just 1… *sigh*
At least the “bad Moylan” didn’t hurt us… unless no one gets on base and Bobby sends him back out there to do some real harm.
quality at bat there
norton down again. again and again.
Well Norton offically SUX
sorry i lost my mind for a minute – Norton step up and the same with Frenchy
3 pitches? Dang you suck Norton.
June 10th, 20099:16 pm
Funny – if Karsten picks up the win, he’ll be a starter who picked up one win and one loss in the same series; both in relief.
can someone tell me where i can get a complete list of the players drafted by the braves
You guys are the biggest bunch of negative f’ing nancys I’ve ever seen on a blog. “oh God, here comes Moylan! The sky is falling! Fire Bobby Cox!”
1) You people know nothing about baseball
2) You’re a bunch of lonely losers who know how to do nothing but whine and complain
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
