I stand corrected. It shouldn’t be a homer. It hit the yellow and came straight back. I thought it hit the yellow, then the wall behind it, but it did not. Saw that on replay.

I hope everybody is doing their all-star voting. I know it’s dumb but Yadier Molina better not be starting for the national league. That can’t happen.

And Yunel is about 300 times better than Jose Reyes. Jimmy Rollins sucks and all Hanley Martinez is going to do is strike out four times. Not that he would bat four times but you know…

That was a mother trucking homerun. Give me a break.

GA needs to get a freaking hit for the first time in his life.

Regardless about how one feels about Frank Wren~ One things for certain!!! He has put together one of the most exciting Braves teams in Quite some time!!! Personally~ I think he handled the “Glavine situation?” just like Glavine would have handled it, had roles been reversed. I doubt very seriously if he is done for the year! I look for him to “Do” something about the Frenchy situation when the time is right! I’m lookin for another Mclouth type deal.

As far as searching the “net” for pics or anything for that matter? Hope this helps?

The thing is, the Pirates bullpen is overworked right now. Other than their closer (who will only pitch should the Pirates be leading in the bottom of the 9th), their best relievers that they will be bringing in now will all be pitching at least 3 days in a row. And this is only the 6th inning.

I’m most excited about Mychal Jones. He’s a little old for my liking but he seems like a steal.

When I saw Hefflinger’s picture, he kind of had a Corey Hart-type body. He definitely has to have some untapped power potential.

98 mph fastball on Berryhill? I’ll take that.

I think we saw some of Wren’s fingerprints on the draft with speed being emphasized.

Sorry DOB but you are wrong on that one. The yellow line is treated exactly as the foul lines. The ball hits on it and it is in fair territory. Therefore if it hits the yellow and lands in play it is considered a live ball. If it hit and goes over it is considered a HR.

I am beginning to fear for the saftey of Francoeur, Norton, Anderson, and Johnson. McLouth, Chipper, Esco and Chipper are doing everything possible to carry this team. The starting rotation has been awesome for the most part, and EOF, Soriano, and Gonzalez have been outstanding. Those four (to be nice sucky players) need to be beaten in the clubhouse, or left behind on a roadtrip. It is hard to get on a role when you are playing with 4 hitters and 5 automatic outs. If we are in contention in September, and Heyward is tearing the cover off the ball, you need to call him up.
