I am not one to root against a player, just so I can be proven right. However seeing Franceour get that hit only further delays the importance of him being benched. Franceour supporters will immediately point to that as him “bursting out of it”. Unreal, but not surprising.

If i were the Pirates and wanted to win why not put McLouth in LF and call up McCutchin to play CF. I think it was a great trade for our braves, McLouth is under contract for like 3 yrs and Gorky’s was expendable since we have Shafer getting his sh1t st8t in AAA.
