I do feel bad for Francoeur…he just can’t do anything right…whatever is the opposite of the Midas touch…he has…I seriously feel bad for him…now trade his sorry carcass, send him down, or simply put him on the bench…he has no right starting every day…how in the flying heck did Bobby bat him 5th last night?

Let moylan give it up and then EOF only throws to one batter. So we are going to use a pitcher for every out now. I think cox may be losing it.

Okay here’s where Bobby doesn’t get me…he leaves Moylan in there to give it up but puts Eric in there..he gets an out….but he takes him out….how does he know Bennett has it or not..? Which more than likely he doesn’t….more importantly if he subbed bennett so quick why not sub Eric?

Moylan needs to be sent down. Bobby keeps sending him out there in the 7th, and he keeps getting rocked. Kawakami is denied the win.

It sickens me to keep seeing the obvious not being corrected. Franceour and Moylan need to go. The Braves have a chance to make a run this summer….and blind loyalty to 2 players who are not helping the Braves win is going to negate the positives that the Nate McLouth trade brought.

Moylan needs to either be relegated to long relief….or…sent down. I wouldnt totally give up on Moylan. After all, he is coming off elbow surgery and he has show flashes of his old self. However, he is just too inconsistent to keep putting out there in the 7th inning when the Braves have a lead.

However, Franceour needs to go because he simply does not have the ability to produce in the Majors. Seeing him labor and diving at that ball that McClutchen hit shows that he does not have any speed.

Just watched the replay of Jeff’s failing to catch what became a triple. Looked like he took a roundabout route. Hard play, but some rightfielders would have made it. Plus clearly Loafing Garrett cost a run with his saunter on the earlier triple. Two of our outfielders not only can not hit, they really can not field either.

It just seems really weird to take what was a burgeoning prospect in Kris Medlen and remove him from getting any experience-in either the majors or the minors. Bobby has a habit of calling people up in the pen and not using them (Stockman, anyone?). And I just don’t get it. Why stop his development just to have him sit out there and carry around children’s backpacks?

Typical of any mediocre ball team is there is always a breakdown somewhere. For the Braves, it is usually the offense. Tonight they got enough starting pitching, enough offense, but poor defense and sub par relief pitching. Meanwhile, the opposition now has been given a tremendous amount of confidence that might sustain them through this series.
