Hmmm. Right again. Should have walked Escobar too.
It’s not very often that you find a manager willing to give you the game. Thanks Ken

Why was McCann on bench to begin with……………..
Coach ( Moon Pie, Anyone?)
Why have the Braves scored eight runs today? Because it took our brilliant manager seeing BACK TO BACK SHUT OUTS before he put Chipper back in the three hole where he belongs.
Why is Jeff Francoeur still in the line up? Because our BRILLIANT Manager still can’t get past his own flawed loyalty to his players.
Why did Tommy Hanson pitch today instead of Tommy Glavine? Money, undeniable talent and the unchecked EGO of Frank Wren.
Should the Braves win this game, our Braves will still be a game under .500 thanks to the INCOMPETENCE of both BOBBY COX and FRANK WREN.
I’m happy that the offense has picked up the pitching for a change. But BEAVIS ( BOBBY COX ) and BUTTHEAD ( FRANK WREN ) are holding this franchise hostage. One needs to retire and the other should be canned.
Irrational Braves Fan
I’m with you pryguy. These knee-jerk “fans” are getting absurd with their bi-polar approach to baseball. Stay logical my friend.
Chance for the cycle or not, you don’t pitch to Chipper there. Not in a one-run game. Brewers made the absolute right baseball move.
Gonzy! Let’s do this!
Soriano pitched last night…Gonzo hasn’t pitched in awhile…the last Cubs game I think.
i hope soriano closes it but he was used yesterday. it has to be gonzo.
the hope of the braves nation rests in your hands mr hanson
i know the pirates couldnt have afforded it but an outfield of bay, mclouth, and nady would be one of the best in the game…
I would rather have a right fielder who isnt exactly the greatest fielder in the world, yet hits in the clutch like Escobar does……than to have someone like Franceour, who can field his position, yet kills every rally with his lack of clutch hitting.
Ok that gun is wrong…Gonzo does NOT throw 100…LOL
June 7th, 20094:18 pm
seriously? Why do you think dude?
Here’s a good stat:
Frenchy’s OBP is almost identical to JoJo Reyes’.
I’m not liking Diaz’s bat lately. Nope, not liking it at all. He’s better than this.
Waynes panties soaking squishy squishy really wet
Admitted liar and hypocrite calling other people names. You see it all from certain types. Go wring them panties out big boy. No matter how you spin it Tommy Hanson looked less than expected. The real liar is you who can’t admit that.
Steve from OH
Can we get a Pepperidge Blogs Remembers on the posts where Coach says that Hanson over Glavine was a good move?
lets see if we can hold on to this thing now.
I’ve avoided calling him this all year. I’ve pulled for him as hard as anybody. Just like most of you, I’ve given him every chance to change my mind.
I can’t do it anymore. I’m fed up. I’m binging on Q and drinking too much. My bald spot is expanding by the day. I’m so ornery that my dog is interviewing other owners. My cat just flat-out left. My galfriend now has headaches on a regular basis. My tongue-holding is OVER!!
TRADE HIM BY SUNDOWN OR RELEASE HIS AZZ!!
NO MORE STENCHY!! NO MORE STENCHY!! NO MORE STENCHY!!
No let’s be honest..Jeff has tapered off on the D a little. lol

Let’s do a blog wave, I’l start-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I think this wave helped(as much as Skip hated the wave)
Irrational Braves fan and other Frenchy bashers, you don’t know Braves baseball if you think Frenchy isn’t the centerpiece of this team. Braves will build around him. You will see.
Cmon Gonzo enhance that trade value
I smell a Gonzo, to Texas for Nelson Cruz trade coming, as long as Jon Daniels has to take Failcouer in the deal!!!
don’t walk him
that was a strike.
That was a strike!
June 7th, 20094:20 pm
Gonzo WTF!!!! Come On!
God, I do not like Gonzo
ok gonzo. no drama please.
Gonzo 8 for 16 in 1-run saves. Bobby doesn’t read stat books though.
Frenchy is a complete joke.
omg here we go……..
told you man, brewers have fundamentals, kendall can bunt.
Geez..here we go. Comeon Gonzo!
Mike Gonzalez can’t be this team’s closer next year. Not for the money he will want.
Hmmm…this is kinda nerve-wracking.
Hold this lead so frenchy wont have to bat.
Frank from KS
Ha, ha, ha.
Did you hear Boog talking about whether it would have been “smart” for Yuni NOT to take second on his hit so as to make sure Chipper could swing? Ridiculous.
he is high.
typical lead off walk for our relief pitchers.. grrrrrr
but yes….I give credit where credit is due..
This is the kind of game we need to win.
Cox did push all of the right buttons. When you win, everything is fine. When you push the buttons and they don’t work, then that’s when the 2nd guessing begins.
I’ve never said I don’t like Cox…I think he’s been a wonderful and exceptional ambassador for Braves baseball. People tends to forget, HE is the one who built the team of the 90’s that SCHEURHOLZ got credit for.
All I’m saying is his time has passed. That’s not meant as a criticism, that’s not to be appreciative of everything he’s done…
Kinda like a certain football coach at my alma mater!!!!!!!!
Gonzo looks like the Tasmanian Devil out there.
Gonzo For Nellie Cruz is a good Idea!
June 7th, 20094:21 pm
Texas did want him last year. And he does live there, or his family does. Very interesting. I like Gonzo though.
I’d like for him to throw strikes though too.
Get Soriano up/in please
GET HIM OUT and get soriano in.
damn, gonzo…. if its not one thing with this club its another..
brewdawg, you’re right — as much as I, along with the braves fans at the stadium, hate it, you don’t pitch to chipper with 1st base open.
boog sciambi asked joe simpson if yunel should’ve stayed at first base in order to make the brewers pitch to chipper. what do you guys think? i say no — even though reaching second takes the bat out of chipper’s hands, you don’t just park it at first to give chipper a chance to hit a double. that’s not how the game is played.
Gonzo is such a spaz with a 1-run lead.
Oh no, here come to negative bloggers on the scene. Very shortly.
Waiting On Gonzo To Blow
Why must Gonzo always make it interesting?
June 7th, 20094:22 pm
Get up Soriano.
wow.good play pradito.
GOOD DP!!!!! Hell Yea
MARTEEEEEEN !!! MY MAN !!!!!!!!!!!!
Prado’s had a couple of those today. Great play.
My 4:17 post was meant as a joke…I certainly know why……..
So all the Martin Prado haters….he is a pretty darn good first baseman!!!
Prado has really been coming along with his 1st base defense, just 1 more out!
Bobby doesn’t read stat books though.
Ha! Best line of the day, especially coming from you, numbletard. Bobby and Wren know more about baseball stats than any on this board, and I do seem to recall an interview with a Braves FO member who says that the Braves have their own internal stats that they create to evaluate players. Try again, dipsh!t.
For those that have been complaining about Prado at first base, take that!!!
if history repeats, somebody is going to second, then gonzo either surrenders a run or strikes somebody out.
the blog wave is officially dead….
NO MORE BOBBY
GONZALEZ IS A CLOWN!
His rocking back and forth bit is old. JUST GET PEOPLE OUT DUDE!!!
Prado makes that double play like a regular “skilled” first baseman.. And its not the first time either.
this guys has no HR but he can hit it out
there we go!!!!! 1 more out Gonzo!!!! strike his a$$ out!!!
Prado is increasing his value by playing 1st better and better…he was a trip there last year but man he’s gotten better
If Everyone Thinks that was a good As.s DP? Then Give Me a Hell Yeah!!!
no, history did not repeat. good.
And here returns the joyous fans/bloggers (which very well may be the same negative fans/bloggers). Tread carefully on here.
June 7th, 20094:23 pm
Prado great play…
Hit the batter
Gonzo Looks Rusty… CheeseWhiz….!
Soriano, in game now, you can only be lucky so many times with Gonzo.
Did that really hit him? I don’t think so!
Folks, Prado is playing some good first for a novice. That throw to 2nd isn’t easy for a righthander.
Nice play Marteeeen!
becarefull with counsel, he is a GREAT hitter, with a lot of expirience.
That strike was high
June 7th, 20094:24 pm
Even more proof of the flawed loyalty of Bobby Cox.
Mike Gonzalez instead of Rafael Soriano ? regardless of the outcome, this is a maalox moment thanks to the INCOMPETENCE of bobby Cox.
Gonzalez just likes to make things interesting, right????
What a Yunel Escobar lying bitch. You didn’t get hit. BS.
Craig Counsel’s gonna get smacked on his mouth if I have anything to say about it.
Cmon Frank, Trade Gonzo top Texas, with Failcouer for Nelson Cruz!!!! do it NOW!!!!!!
Two strikes at least.
Anybody else feel like that ball didn’t hit him?
Damn, come on Rocker!
Cmon Frank, Trade Gonzo to Texas, with Failcouer for Nelson Cruz!!!! do it NOW!!!!!!
back up catcher stealing base.lol
Yeah, Prado is a great 1B when he can’t even position himself correctly in a critical situation. Next question.
WHAT A PLAY PRADO!!!!!!!!!!!
nothing comes easy for us including a save and why are they letting that runner steal my god
I am one of the few Frenchy apologists left. I was just stating that your optimism wasn’t going to be rewarded with this crew of “fans”. I’m on your side.
I agree Dirty Yuni. It bounced in the dirt.
radar just said 96. is gonzo back?
WOW! 96 for Gonzo.
jeez, 96 MPH
