Why have the Braves scored eight runs today? Because it took our brilliant manager seeing BACK TO BACK SHUT OUTS before he put Chipper back in the three hole where he belongs.
Why is Jeff Francoeur still in the line up? Because our BRILLIANT Manager still can’t get past his own flawed loyalty to his players.
Why did Tommy Hanson pitch today instead of Tommy Glavine? Money, undeniable talent and the unchecked EGO of Frank Wren.
Should the Braves win this game, our Braves will still be a game under .500 thanks to the INCOMPETENCE of both BOBBY COX and FRANK WREN.
I’m happy that the offense has picked up the pitching for a change. But BEAVIS ( BOBBY COX ) and BUTTHEAD ( FRANK WREN ) are holding this franchise hostage. One needs to retire and the other should be canned.
I would rather have a right fielder who isnt exactly the greatest fielder in the world, yet hits in the clutch like Escobar does……than to have someone like Franceour, who can field his position, yet kills every rally with his lack of clutch hitting.
Admitted liar and hypocrite calling other people names. You see it all from certain types. Go wring them panties out big boy. No matter how you spin it Tommy Hanson looked less than expected. The real liar is you who can’t admit that.
I’ve avoided calling him this all year. I’ve pulled for him as hard as anybody. Just like most of you, I’ve given him every chance to change my mind.
I can’t do it anymore. I’m fed up. I’m binging on Q and drinking too much. My bald spot is expanding by the day. I’m so ornery that my dog is interviewing other owners. My cat just flat-out left. My galfriend now has headaches on a regular basis. My tongue-holding is OVER!!

Irrational Braves fan and other Frenchy bashers, you don’t know Braves baseball if you think Frenchy isn’t the centerpiece of this team. Braves will build around him. You will see.
Did you hear Boog talking about whether it would have been “smart” for Yuni NOT to take second on his hit so as to make sure Chipper could swing? Ridiculous.
Cox did push all of the right buttons. When you win, everything is fine. When you push the buttons and they don’t work, then that’s when the 2nd guessing begins.
I’ve never said I don’t like Cox…I think he’s been a wonderful and exceptional ambassador for Braves baseball. People tends to forget, HE is the one who built the team of the 90’s that SCHEURHOLZ got credit for.
All I’m saying is his time has passed. That’s not meant as a criticism, that’s not to be appreciative of everything he’s done…
Kinda like a certain football coach at my alma mater!!!!!!!!
brewdawg, you’re right — as much as I, along with the braves fans at the stadium, hate it, you don’t pitch to chipper with 1st base open.
boog sciambi asked joe simpson if yunel should’ve stayed at first base in order to make the brewers pitch to chipper. what do you guys think? i say no — even though reaching second takes the bat out of chipper’s hands, you don’t just park it at first to give chipper a chance to hit a double. that’s not how the game is played.
Ha! Best line of the day, especially coming from you, numbletard. Bobby and Wren know more about baseball stats than any on this board, and I do seem to recall an interview with a Braves FO member who says that the Braves have their own internal stats that they create to evaluate players. Try again, dipsh!t.
I am one of the few Frenchy apologists left. I was just stating that your optimism wasn’t going to be rewarded with this crew of “fans”. I’m on your side.
