There you go, Greg Norton getting it done again.
Chop It Up All-star
Whoa, did you guys see that girl in the crowd sitting with the dude with an orange hat…wow!!
Of all the times, kelly please, please run into something and hit it where there are no Blue shirts this time!!!!
June 6th, 20099:07 pm
Come on guys! One cluth hit right here!
Francoeur also has an endearing rain-delay special that airs on Sports South. I get a tear every time I see it.
Gosh, that things played like two dozen times since April too.
No More Bobby-
Klesko hit 3 home runs in the 95 world series, I guess you weren’t around for that one. The Braves won.
And blaming Bobby for a guy like Sheffield going 1 for the postseason isn’t very impressive either.
Trust me 241 is BIG
*If you count the 11th game he’s played in (tonight) than that’s 1 multi hit game since May 22. But the original point still stands, the RBI production hasn’t gone up yet.
June 6th, 20099:08 pm
I’m telling you. Kelly Johnson won’t get a hit here.
I am not going to be negative and predict what I think will happen…
DC Brave and others, the 3rd base coach tells him to “run on contact” or “wait to see if it gets through.”
Alright Kelly, time to get this offense going
positive thoughts everyone!!!
Rob (from SC)
1st pitch swining
you tell them brother! If Joe Torre had been here we would only have three or four more World Championship teams. I mean, who cares? RIIIIGGGTTTT???? (Coach)
ask any player who has played for both of them and they will tell you that they are the same manager coach. They get ripped by their team’s fans for the same things. Torre shoulf have won more than he did this decade with the highly favored and expensive teams that he had in NY. He is no improvememt on Cox.
June 6th, 20099:09 pm
DOB, as much as I live my boy Prado, he’s really not an everyday player.
The injury to Kotchman has not helped matters in this homestand. We just don’t have enough guys who have specific roles on this team.
No conventional lead-off hitter. You gotta have one of those.
Yeah, we need a lot of stuff.
Prez of Matt Diaz Fan Club
R u kidding me
not having Infante there killed us
I am about to turn into randy quaid from major league two for the rest of the damn season.
June 6th, 20099:10 pm
Wow….you go KJ!!! My word this offense sucks.
Brutal. Just brutal.
By the way, looked to me like Chipper aggravated the toe on that swing right before he grounded out, but Braves haven’t announced anything yet.
How long do we keep the guys hitting .240 in there?
I miss Infante. A lot.
give me a &*%#%^@$#@!(&$<)=(! break
Nice Kelly…..real nice chief!
well that was quick. Kelly’s done nothing since that 3 double night.
Advice to Bobby: Pull Kelly if he is having a very good night, that way he might still have something left for the next game.
AAAAAAUGH!!! This is painful.
Another reason McClouth should be hitting leadoff instead of No Talent A** Clown KJ
Well I guess it’s better that it’s something that he already hurt then something new
Hey, we had’em loaded and almost scored. Can’t get any closer than that.
Frank from KS
June 6th, 20099:11 pm
Ya don’t like Margaritaville?
We all must be masochist watching this garbage
OMG, all those stolen bases. Why aren’t we ahead Coach, you said I could take it to the bank about how important stolen bases are.
June 6th, 20099:12 pm
Told you. He had one good year and everyone thinks he is great. He sucks.
Macon Braves (RIP)
Good grief, so Jeff Suppan strolls into Turner Field and makes his case for the Cy Young this year…..
Has not allowed an extra base hit this year…oops.
Where did we see that before
Any chance we can trade for Fielder?
Uh, make that: six out of his 11 hits at Turner have been homers.
KJ had his hot streak for awhile already and it was mostly wasted by Bobby batting him leadoff. He’s obviously in his COLD streak.
Prince shows the Braves how to get it done.
June 6th, 20099:13 pm
This is D I S G U S T I N G ! ! !
Meanwhile Furcal homered today
Uh, what does ‘in play, run(s)’ stand for. I don’t understand… nobody’s on base.
Hanson might be out to prevent the Braves from being swept. No added pressure …
Yeah…tomorrow I’ll hunt him down and he cann tell me exactly why he ran right there…
No, I’m kidding. But he better have a good reason…I’m not sure what constitutes as a good reason for that, but uh…
Bravos2249 Just think if Mac stayed at 3rd it’d be 2-1 now
Oh look…a homer…
Martin & Kelly were overmatched by big-league pitching right there folks.
And….here come the Brew Crew ….again. Fielder with bomb #2.
1st extra base given hit by EOF
Wow. So, that’s what a home run looks like. I wish the Braves could hit one of those.
His hot streak lasted like 2-3 games
Frank from KS-
I do. I just like the other 2 better

“DOB, as much as I live my boy Prado, he’s really not an everyday player.”
That’s embarrassing. I gotta do butter than that in the future.
June 6th, 20099:14 pm
Whats your lineup with chipper out?
How many runners have we left in scoring position tonight?
A triple, 2 walks, 2 stolen based= 0 runs. You gotta be good to do that
No More Bobby
How many times have we seen this in the Braves boxscore for homeruns?
Anybody else up for electing The Truth president of the universe? He knows everything.
Hmmmm, so this is what a real offense looks like huh? Maybe the Braves will have one one day.
It’s as if we’re watching a good team and a bad team compete…
Who else feels like just beating the heck out of something right now? But, we’ve been through all this before and we got through it, and looks like another year of the smae old stuff.
Bye bye O. Bad night.
June 6th, 20099:15 pm
This just in: Chipper left with DIZZINESS. Been given clean bill of healthy already, was evaluated in clubhouse
I’m starting to feel warmly nostalgic about those one-run road losses from last year.
“Uh, what does ‘in play, run(s)’ stand for. I don’t understand… nobody’s on base”
that would normally mean the batter just hit a homer.
It’s like when you drive by a car accident and you just cannot look away. You just keep watching, knowing you will mostly likely see something you will not like. I keep watching and I don’t know why?
Chippers having hot flashes
get em on, get em over, get em stranded.
Hopefully he brings his bat.
This team is just dumb, how do you make these error, baserunning mistakes, and how do you throw a meatball across the plate with Fielder up to bat?
Almost all our loses are off DUMB mistakeS.
They’re not bad by many means, but they play like morons
You could’a had me Braves, you could’a had me………….
JD: I second that – but I’m staying in charge of the awesome Matt Diaz Club
Wow, now I’m really embarrassed. I haven’t quite mastered this whole italicization thing.
June 6th, 20099:16 pm
ok, to heck with optimism…I really don’t have anything left to say. It is kind of surreal…how bad the Braves offense really is…I am asking of the top of my head, and I don’t normally bash coaches, but who has TP made better in their career?
Is this batting practice?
Carpe Diem, we don’t need no damn stolen bases! Our Braves are dead last in that department. Our offense is doing just fine like it is and you can take that to the bank!
OK.. I’ve seen enough of KJ. The guy is flat out awfull.. I can’t believe Bobby Cox continues to run him out there each day. My blind grandma can hit better than him.
June 6th, 20099:17 pm
Yeah, bring in Peter, he never gives up any runs…geez.
Oh my goodness….dizziness?? I’ve always stood by Chipper and defended him to the haters, but it sure is getting hard.
Chipper looks a lot like Mike Hampton
Will Medlen ever pitch again?
No, this is the Braves. Welcome to the Brave New World
bigmacattack, I was joking.
Braves Season Offense in a Nutshell
In Play, Out(s)
June 6th, 20099:18 pm
I don’t care if Canizares can’t catch a cold he needs to be called up tomorrow when Chipper and Kotchman go on the DL.
Fielder has 54 RBIs — 20 more than new Braves leader McLouth
Look out…here’s the leading catcher in All Star voting.
hey, that’s nothing to mess with…just ask Joey Votto.
Steve from OH
I detect deflection at 9:16, Carpe! Haven’t we had 3 SB today? That equals three runs, right? Oh, wait…
June 6th, 20099:19 pm
I bet Hanson wants the Offense from Gwinnett to play behind him tomorrow
Ok that’s good. Dizziness can be serious…he looked a little dazed before he went up there. Glad it’s not his toe.
CHIPPER IS SOFT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I CAN’T STAND IT ANYMORE!!!! Enough of this friggin anemic offense!!! It makes me sick!!! ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10 runners left on base. 0 for 13 with runners in scoring position last night and tonight and this game isn’t over yet.
June 6th, 20099:20 pm
I wouldn’t use the word bet and Hanson in the same sentence unless you r putting money on the Brewers
The Braves leader left the game due to dizziness? And y’all wonder why this team is soft.
Have you not seen what happened to Votto…that stuff is noting to play around with
