Chipper’s out… so naturally, it’s a GREAT day to rest McCann and KJ!! Not like we need offense or anything.

Your 1:56 hits the nail on the head brotha. I couldn’t agree more, yet I still check the blog on a daily basis to see DOB’s insights and information. It is only to be smeared with negative comments.

If Lance Berkman could play 122 games in center in 2002 on a team that won 84 games, why not try Diaz in center for a game?

JD I can understand McCann (he’s gone like 6 days straight)

No…he had most of the night off on Wednesday.

Why couldn’t Bobby wait till tomorrow to sit him? I don’t know how much of the game I’ll get to see tomorrow! :(

AndyC I have been thinking about this and I think that this may be his strategy now since he has had a couple of serious injuries on plays at the plate, last year and then again in 2006.

Could be. Doesn’t hurt my feeling a whole lot–plays at the plate give me a weird feeling in my stomach. I love it when he gets the out, but man oh man…they scare me.

I’m sure you can describe these injuries much better than I can.

I don’t remember the actual plays to well–there’s no replay of Byrnes running over him like, anywhere. I’ve tried Googling it just so I could see how Mac was blocking the plate or whatever, but I could find no replays.

But yeah, the injury turned out to be a little more serious than they originally thought–sprained ankle, missed 3 weeks…and it was still giving him a little trouble last year.

The play with Victorino…I haven’t seen that one since it happened. Part of me wants to watch it again to see if McCann was out in front of the plate, but I don’t know if I could watch it…that was really scary. I think BMac was sort of out in front, ’cause he like, turned back to the plate to make the tag and that’s when they hit…but I could be wrong, and like I said, I’m not in any sort of a hurry to see that again.

If this is the case, then I can respect that and except a few runs getting by.

Yeah…me, too. It is tough when they do get by, though.

The Braves have scored 10 or more runs on five other occasions this season, but they’ve followed that up with a loss four times. Atlanta has scored a combined six runs in those losses while hitting around .200.

I am a fan of Diehard Braves Fan w/o Apology. A lot of people who dominate the posting on this blog should know that there are a lot of Braves fans out there who loathe the way that the public discourse (e.g. this blog) in the Braves world is dominated by overnegativity. There is plenty to criticize, but the overall tone is usually pretty terrible. Everyone can feel as entitled to vent as they want, and It’s easy to just skim through to look for DOB’s updates, but it is still disappointing that the public face of Atlanta sports is consistently represented this way.

I know many miss seeing Erin Andrews on Braves telecasts, but you can see her a lot on ESPN and ABC. Yeah, I think Boog is totally being forced to talk about the facebook crap all the time.

It’s more fun to hang out there during games than here. There are real Braves fans that go to talk about the team, including the problems, than to complain. Why is it “crap”, because you’re an old fart and don’t get it? Maybe because there’s not enough negativity? That’s where I hang out, the crowd is diverse in all ways, and people are really into the Braves and games. There are a few who playa-hate but they don’t dominate like they do here. I invite real fans to check it out you can carry on a conversation directly with someone and/or make general comments to the blog. Prior to iOS 5, the iPod branding was used for the media player included with the iPhone and iPad, a combination of the Music and Videos apps on the iPod Touch. As of iOS 5, separate apps named “Music” and “Video” are standardized across all iOS-powered products. While the iPhone and iPad have essentially the same media-player capabilities as the iPod line, they are generally treated as separate products. In the last few years, iPhone and iPad sales have overtaken those of the iPod.”..^”
