I sure hope the braves front office has learned their lesson the last couple of years and decide not to trade the farm (at least none of the top 5 prospects in the system) to try and get an outfield bat.He’s obviously giving that off to more than just us Braves fans. That whining he did last year after having to go to the minors definitely didn’t help.

“What everybody fails to see is the Braves don’t need new outfielders, they need a REAL hitting coach not Terrible Terry Pendleton.” Terry Pendleton’s favorite coaching word is “Knucklehead”. He actually thinks that he knows more about hitting than these players….so, Chipper Jones has to step in and go to the cage with Jordan Schaefer to try and get him to stop swinging under the ball because all Pendleton does is call him a knucklehead. Francouer had to work out with Rudy Jaramillo of the Rangers just to get Pendleton’s stupid ideas out of his head. Looks like Jaramillo is working with Andruw Jones with positive results. Why don’t we trade a player for Rudy Jaramillo? Stupid statement, I know. The one thing that Chipper Jones and Brian McCann have in common is that their Dad’s are great hitting instructors. Get a positive hitting coach who can teach gameplan hitting and the Brave’s hitting will come around.

I went to the last 2 Braves-Giants games. Chipper is in pain right now. When one is swinging a bat, you take a step forward to swing. Every time Chipper taps that front foot forward, he is in a lot of pain. He has an excuse for his poor series. It isnt like Chipper forgot to hit in the past 3 days.

However what is Franceour’s excuse? I have nothing against Franceour. It’s his play over the past couple of years that I have something against. It’s too bad that he cant hit because having his arm in right field is a real asset. However, you have to be able to get on base and knock in runs in this game. He just doesnt have it.

Can anyone name one young player who has actually gotten better and not digressed since he became the hitting coach. Okay, McCann was good from day one, Andruw hit .300 when Baylor was the hitting coach and when he left so did Andruw’s numbers. Get a hitting coach who can do something before TP ruins more young players careers.

I don’t know who this Wes wannabe is…….but please don’t smudge my name by defending Jeff Francoeur. The guys has been nothing but a joke for 3 YEARS now. A guy being a project is one thing, but when you’re 3 years into that project, its no longer a project. It is a failure.

I believe the definition of insanity is to do the same exact thing the same exact way over and over again and expect different results. Have the Braves front office boys had their insanity checks lately?
