Oh yeah, uh-huh…the guy hops in front of McCann, the ball gets to the base but the tag is late, Vaz threw to second instead of first…yeah, McCann sooo blew that inning…
On the plus side, his AVG is .319, and his AVG with RISP is .348! 18 RBI, now. Whoo-hoo!
I hope Francœur can do something here. Can’t imagine the haters if he stinks it up.
This guy sucks. He’s a disgrace to the number 7.
We don’t have to vote for McCann. He’ll be on the team whether he gets voted on or not.
Frenchy Will Hit Into DP
Just like yesterday, wailing at the first pitch with men in scoring position. At least he struck out!
May 25th, 20095:52 pm
Frenchie In the Fifth Spot was Bobby on Xanax when he Filled out the lineup card?
Strike Out ugh
Please release Francouer, only he could suck that bad with the bases loaded.
Wow….that was hack-tastic
…better than a DP I guess.
get him the fuc outta here. Damn how much of this do we have to watch. Damnit.
Come on Kotchman, snap out of slump please.
Francoer is finished here imo-the writing is on the wall.
Come On! KotchMeister!!!!
god frenchy is nothing but garbage…. so sad.
Ymir The Frost GIANT
Ymir the queer, your annoying. The Giants are what 10 games out of first place?
whatever, mean old potty mouth who can’t even post under a real screen name, we are gonna kick some Braves butt. The Braves are toast on the coast. So there !
Get off my team.
May 25th, 20095:53 pm
That AB by Frenchy was definitely NOT double pits to chesty.
*Nicely done, BMac. Rut roh, rally killer Francoeur is up. Just strike out and sit down Frenchy. No DP or TP, please.*
Alright… I’ve been a Francouer defender, but after showing signs of righting the ship lately, I’ve been very unimpressed the last couple days. If he doesn’t turn it around here within the next couple weeks, it’ll be time to part ways.
FFFFFFRRRRRREEEEEEENNNNNNNCCCCCCCCCYYYYYYYY, leave’em loaded ! Yea Baby!
The slow-mo of that swing by Francoeur looked bad. Doing all kinds of little things, mixing and matching from his old approach and what was supposed to be his new. Not good….
Meanwhile, on McCann: He was 2-for-20 against lefties before he went on the DL. He’s 6-for-16 against them since he came off DL.
Chop It Up All-star
Yikes Frenchy is, uh…the opposite of McCann.
I’m Now Really Getting on The get Rid of Francoeur Bandwagon…Ive been trying to give him some slack but he aint cuttin it!
May 25th, 20095:54 pm
Ymir The Frost GIANT…you’ve enjoyed one too many bathhouses there in San Fran-freakshow.
Kotchman hit that to the folks in the walkway above RF. But about 40 feet foul.
Is Medlen still scheduled to start tomorrow?
man we suck.
I’ll take it!
Steve from OH
May 25th, 20095:55 pm
Great AB, Casey.
KOTCHMEISTER… AT A Boy!!!!
Feels like we’re seeing a bases-loaded walk every other game. Amazing how many around baseball this year.
I called at least one run via bases loaded walk. There it is!
(OK, my 0-0 tie prediction was garbage.)
I can’t imagine what Frenchy feels like inside, but that at bat was unexcusable! Unreal! Just put wood on the baseball and go from there. Nope, not Jeff…gotta try and ambush the pitcher on the first pitch.
Come on Diory!
Come On Diory…! Get Tough!!!
Anybody still saying that the Braves never get any breaks?
Kotchman showing Jeff how to be a major league hitter.
Bases loaded walks are our specialty, huh? : )
Keep Frenchy…he’ll be alright.
Rob in Mobile
Frenchy looks like the confused guy the scouts were talking about last year. I’ve never seen a hitter look so lost as he does at times. He’s thinking way too much…..
good eye by Kotchman…
May 25th, 20095:56 pm
no way that was a strike!!!!!!!!!!!
I love your ‘real screen name’….How rich is thát?! I’m wondering what a fake screen name would be….
Take a swim in the bay and enjoy that, instead of being on here, would ya? Let’s keep those runs walking in please….
Boooo! They should have got the guy out at 1st ~_~
We needed a fly ball there, too bad the rook was up in that spot.
After a BS strike one call, Hernandez hits to third and forces Diaz at the plate. Bases loaded, 2 out, Schafer at the plate.
Well At least It wasn’t a DP…I’m Glad Loaf wasn’t Running
K-FER, COME ON!!!!!
May 25th, 20095:57 pm
Diory, Queefer, & pitcher spot is an automatic 3 outs most of the time.
The worst lineup of all-time. With Schaffer up. 3 outs. Wow, did u see that swing.
Big spot Logan. You got it in you?
BRAVES ARE LOSERS
Jeff Francoeur + Braves = NO PLAYOFFS
Oh no, Schaffer!!!
This teams situational hitting is attrocious. It even sucked during hte Blue Jays series. Got to learn to score runs without hits (except for the basesloaded walks, lol)!!!
Elvis Andrus could be playing for Hernadez.
Schaffer doesnt have a fucin clue what he is doing.
Kotchman doesn’t hit for the power we need out of first base, but in every other aspect of the game he is a consumate professional. Every at bat is PROFESSIONAL.
May 25th, 20095:58 pm
Gawd! K-FER needs to be in AAA! That was painful to watch…
Geez two of our 9 hitters have no friggin clue
God, Schafer sucks, this kid needs to be sent down like right now.
Oh schafer schafer schafer
wow he sux
stick a fork in schafer hes done.
That was terrible, What is Josh Anderson hitting again? How many stolen bases does he have. Schaffer’s a BUM.
Jordan and Frenchy both trying to hit the ball in the water and what happens…they strike out. Wow, what a waste.
When you load bases with none out, you don’t really want Francoeur and Schafer to be two of the next four guys coming up.
May 25th, 20095:59 pm
Schafer and Francoer costing the team here.
Well, there’s still a chance though for sure. Just gotta get a 1 2 3 inning here.
Logan, you dig my scouting report?????
Can the Braves get a special DH rule so that Jordan Schafer never has to hit ever again? He is seriously terrible. At this point, his hitting to so awful, I’d trade in his defense for a mediocre defender who didn’t suck as bad as he does with the bat.
Well, Logan is still better than JF with bases juiced. He’s not going to GIDP, can’t make contact to save his life..
Oy…Shaf. The two swinging strikes weren’t anywhere near the zone. Not good indeed.
DOB = Captain Obvious
schafer has a lower batting average than three of the starting pitchers in the rotation. what a mess
Figures Frenchy and Schafer would SO.
May 25th, 20096:00 pm
2 Fucin runs out of a bases loaded no out situation. What a shame, Turner field will never sell out this season.
Simply Put this Team doesn’t Come Correct against Sub-.500 Teams…
Another wasted start by Vazquez…ARRRRGGGHHHH!
Schafer needs to have an accident in the shower and sit for a couple of weeks, ala Mike Hampton.
as much as I hate to admit it, JS is totally over matched and would benefit from going down to Triple A… how long do they let this go on…
JeffF actually had a good at bat, for him. At least he didn’t hit into a double play.
How was that inning a waste? The Braves got two runs back after the Giants scored three. They gave us two runs, folks. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Teams have been giving us gifts all year. Last season, we get a strikeout and a double play in that situation. Open your eyes. I don’t think this team is great, but if teams are going to keep helping us out, we’re going to be in this all year.
on gameday it shows that he swung at three balls to strike out. is that true?
DOB Meanwhile, on McCann: He was 2-for-20 against lefties before he went on the DL. He’s 6-for-16 against them since he came off DL.
May 25th, 20096:01 pm
Well the table couldn’t have been set any better for the bottom half of the order. And, surprise surprise, Kotchman’s the only one who delivers. Too bad.
Frenchy and Schafer are good for 8-10 easy outs a game right now.
Poor kid is lost, but it is what it is right now. Wren, we need a bat, please!
I would have pinch hit Chipper for Hernandez there.
A nice moment of silence there.
DOB-arent Francour and Schaffer major league players according to our beloved manager, I thought so. So dont make excuses, just say the SUCK.
Not to give Francœur and Schafer a pass for those miserable ABs, but, had Javy thrown to first on the bunt, the Braves would be leading 2-1.
Had the home plate umpire called interference on Molina, the Braves would be leading 2-0.
This suck-fest is a team effort, umpires included.
May 25th, 20096:02 pm
Yes. None of Schafer’s three strikes were anywhere close to the zone. He’s one of the worst Major League hitters I’ve ever seen. Even 2007 Andruw didn’t look this clueless.
Macon Braves (RIP)
Francoeur and Schafer= Rally Killers
DOB do you think there will be a point Schafer gets sent down? A game or two and he will hit below .200!
Well, Braves got the two runs back the Umps cost them ~_~
braveshater, I don’t know who “Schaffer” is, but he may very well be a bum. Tool.
May 25th, 20096:03 pm
That’s where we could see the injuries REALLY hurt us. We already have Chipper out, but trading Escobar’s bat for D.Hernandez’s bat is a big loss.
And… I like Jordan Schafer, and he does have a lot of talent. But while we’re out shopping for a corner outfielder, we might need to look into a stopgap to get us to Gorkys Hernandez. Schafer looks completely out of place in the big league batter’s box right now. He looks so bad that I’m not so sure this kid’s ever going to be a true big leaguer. Maybe I’m wrong, and I hope I am. But we don’t need another Ryan Langerhanz.
We’re probably not going to be able to get TWO impact bats without giving up half our farm system… but a one big corner outfield bat, plus a Mark Kotsay type (not Kostay… just some kind of healthy version of him) would be fine.
That’s It Send Fcking K-FER down To AAA….I could understand if he was stealing bases in the 8th spot, but Bobby won’t even let him do that…Bring up B. Jones…! He Can’t do no worse than K-Fer…!
Seriously I’m gonna to be Throwing Shyt at the TV if K-Fer is still up there in August Playing like he is when it matters…
Bobby should seriously consider squeeze with JF and Logan hitting with runner on 3rd
MP31, 6:00 pm…”on gameday it shows that he swung at three balls to strike out. is that true?”
Four balls waaaay out of the strike zone were thrown to Schafer. He swung wildly at three of them.
He did SO on three balls!
