McCann’s AVG is up to .311!
With June coming up, I’m sure we’ll start to see some voting “progress reports” for the ASG. McCann better at least be in the top two…but I’m sure the .195 AVG and DL stint hurt him a little since that all started happing right when the voting began.

I don’t get that crap either. Even when it is right on the pitcher’s mound they want them to pass the buck to an infielder. It makes no sense. Are pitchers that inept that they can’t catch a can of corn pop-up?

A big THANKS and GOD BLESS to all our serving and have served millitary men and women out there, and their families too. Don’t know how my mom saw my dad off to 3 wars (II, Korean and ‘Nam) and kept her sanity with us 6 kids at home. (2 new ones after each homecoming!!)

MLH, I’ve Seen Infielders trip over the mound as well, so its kind of a moot point…I was mainly bashing Major league pitchers becuase they learn how to catch pop ups at an early age as everyone knows…

Kentavo: So the Braves just beat Roy Halladay and a swept a series against Toronto without Chipper in the lineup (including two games without Yunel), but you don’t think they can beat the offensively-challenged Giants in a series that begins with Jonathan Sanchez (1-4, 4.74 ERA) and ends with 2009-era Randy Johnson (3-4, 6.26)?

DOB and folks…just wanted to say Happy Memorial Day to all…and a little personal bio that is apropo to the day and the blog…your US government is currently footing the bill for my medical school education (along w/ a nice stipend that allows me to eat steak on occasion)…and for that reward I will serve a minimum of 4 years in the US Army as a physician…and since I will be specializing in Psychiatry…I will be encountering numerous veterans who deal with a whole host of psychological issues…not the least of which is PTSD. I promise all I’ll work to avoid the hassles of getting good treatment for these vets and as my dad likes to say “be part of the solution and not the problem”…ya’ll just can’t be giving me too much grief for my obsessive Braves fanatacism-when clearly I could be studying!!! Why is everyone freakin’ out? We’ve won 5 of 6 and flew cross country and are playing a day game in chilly Frisco. It’s only the 4th inning. Give the team a chance to acclimated. It’s not like Javy’s not holding down the fort in the meantime.

While They are 11-12 against teams that have played less than .500 baseball this year, letting their guard down against the Jubroni teams
Proof that this team comes correct when the play the good teams of the league

Other than Javy’s double, the Braves look anemic today. They’re hitting the ball, but it doesn’t seem to be carrying at all.
Fortunately, the Giants look even more anemic.
If I had to call it now, I would say that this game ends in a 0-0 tie or else someone ends up walking in a run and it ends 1-0.
