“Bobby should blog more often…” Carroll
Did I miss something? What is this comment about?
Rob in Mobile, 8:20 pm, “abwright, Fowler is the Rockies number one prospect. He’s not going anywhere….
After all of the “trade young pitching for aging ball players” talk, I thought I’d throw out a “trade young pitching for dynamic young talent” post. Just wishful thinking on my part.

It would, Efrim. And I am really enjoying both games so far! Locke walks too many batters at this point…needs to rectify that.
Another horrible throw. Love the guy, respect his bat, respect his hustle, but he’s a fattie defensive piece of goo!
May 19th, 20098:26 pm
Only when the BRAVES are losing is the only time the METT TROLL1 and the PHILLIE PHANATIC come on our blog ! Damn COWARDS !!!!!!!!!!!

You fellas betta lay offa my honey, Jeffy Baby. Of coourse he is a miserable hitter look who his hitting coach is, the master batsman, Terry Pendleton. Just rememba, its so much mora important to be a handsome likeable guy that to be a good playa.
My goodness how the average Atlanta fan just cannot get enough of my Jeffy Baby. It is even hard for me to believe how gullible and stupid those fans ara. Just keep the money comin’ honey, just lovin’ the $3.5 mil this yea.
By the by, who is this Chino and why is he always singin’ about his FUPA?

is this the last night for American Idol?!? anyone know?!?
May 19th, 20098:28 pm
I consider myself to be more of an optimistic fan of the braves, even picking them to win the division this year. With that said, I think two things can be made of tonight’s game thus far. KJ can thrive lower in the lineup and Frenchy can thrive on the pine or with a change of scenery. I think Frenchy is a great guy and a good face for the hometown team, but his abilities have diminished severely over such a short period of time. His talent, or lack thereof, is wearing thin on all of our patience at this point.
May 19th, 20098:29 pm
So Chip was talking about pitching around Barmes with the pitcher on deck. JJ goes aggressively after Barmes and strikes him out on three pitches to strand Iannetta at third and pick up Mac for the throw into the runner.
I don’t mind announcers strategizing. But, Geez, at least react to what’s going on in the actual game.

I Don’t Know I don’t Watch American Idiot…
You might strike a nerve with D.O.B. Mentioning who won the results American Idol to him…
May 19th, 20098:30 pm
Escobar gets to lead off twice in the game. First pitch out both times.
Yes it is, Jerry.
bobby’s patience with frenchy is wearing thinner than blaine boyers’ rear end
May 19th, 20098:31 pm
A coach can turn blue in the face, But if a player keeps going to the plate and do what he the hitter wants to do, there is nothing the coach can do !!! Can he ?!
OMG Jen, I’m sorry, I’m apparently blind. I thought your name said Jerry.
garret anderson is brave’s entry in american idle
May 19th, 20098:32 pm
I’m going to blame it on the sudden appearance of Catie Francoeur on the blog.
Can we really get angry with Jeff? I mean he came on the scene so strong, maybe he just never had the potential we all thought he had. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I just don’t think you got what we once thought Jeff.
I found out the last show is tomorrow ….. RHR its ok!! no harm
May 19th, 20098:33 pm
Chopper from Chipper to end the inning.
May 19th, 20098:34 pm
Sometimes I wonder if something outside baseball is messing with Frenchy’s head…
chipper and frenchy are only hitless braves
New lineup yields 6 runs on 9 hits in 4 innings. I’m digging it. Good think the Allknowing HOF manager consults the denizens before filling out the card.
May 19th, 20098:35 pm
“I wonder if something outside baseball is messing with Frenchy’s head…”
Since you appear to be a 3rd grader Beowolf, that would make sense

can you give me the number of dob’s shrink?
Every time u post Beowlf U prove what a dumass u are
May 19th, 20098:42 pm
Nice play by Kotchman and Jurrjens to retire Helton. Ball ricocheted off Krotch’s chest away form the bag. He stuck with it and fed to Jurrjens who stayed with the play and covered first.
Tonight is the performance show. Tomorrow is the finale of Idol. It’s my one guilty pleasure type show ~_~
I’m going with the underdog and predicting Kris Allen to be the Idol this year.
Is It Me or are there Too many cartoon/kiddie distractions at Turner Field which maybe an excuse/cop-out to the low attendance figures..

May 19th, 20098:46 pm
That was DUMB!! I HATE strikeouts!! .284.
And he’s had more hits taken away from him this year…my GOSH!
That’s Dumas dumbass
May 19th, 20098:47 pm
I don’t want to see KJ in the 1 hole again this season.
After KJ bloops and bleeds, he smokes a single up the box. 3-3. Hope this is the start of a classic KJ hot streak.
MY suggestion…Keep KJ Out of the Leadoff Spot…
anderson has passed frenchy in terms of batting average
Told ya KJ could hit lower in the order. 3-3 baby!!
Nice SB KJ
KJ just looks so much more relaxed in the 6 hole
No More Bobby
If this lineup is working and Bobby changes it, I personally will show up at Turner and kick him in his old a**!!!!
KJ steals second. Which team am I watching? This doesn’t look like the Braves.
Francine should be batting 9th.
Looks like streaky KJ is embarking on a good streak.
May 19th, 20098:48 pm
Glenn Hubbard listening to Hip Hop, Nevermind he Probably listens to that Pop Tart Garbage that is played today…
Frenchy hits a weak grounder to SS on a pitch down and out of the strike zone to strand a runner in scoring position. Yes, this is the Braves after all.
Macon Braves (RIP)
May 19th, 20098:49 pm
Whatayaknow, drop Kelly down in the order and he’s 3 for 3, who woulda ever thunk it?
What? No “Jeff really stroked that ball!” comment? I’m disappointed in you, Joe.
Rob in Mobile
KJ needs to stay down in the batting order. He looks like a totally different player. Meanwhile, Frenchy continues to play pepper with the left side of the infield.
thatta boy jeffy!!
May 19th, 20098:50 pm
At what point does Cox say ENOUGH and bench the French? Sheesh, this guy is one gimpy joke!
carroll – still waiting for the phone # for dob’s shrink
moose knuckle, Francine needs to be warming the bench instead…
Jesus be praised, Jeffy Baby did not swing at the first pitch. Of course he made an out. It’s all TP’s fault.
Why Shamus is you all suggesting that I may be distractin’ Jeffy Baby with ma charms? You are such a sweetie, hon. Thank you kindly.
May 19th, 20098:53 pm
Francine should be batting 10th.
May 19th, 20098:54 pm
Kelly was hitting .191 in the leadoff spot….at the moment, he is hitting .700 (7-for-10) in the No. 6 hole this year
watch out catie – cristal taylor has her eye on jeff
May 19th, 20098:55 pm
How on earth did the Braves get this Jurrjens guy from the Tigers? That has got to be the fleecing of the century!
Nice Stab Kotch!!! It seems like he does that once per game!!! Lovely
and that is why you don’t start Martin Prado over Casey Kotchman at 1st base
May 19th, 20098:56 pm
Kotchman has 109.5 games in a row w/o an error.
-FSN Rocky Mountain
It wouldn’t just be a coincidence Jeffy’s slump started right after you two got hitched …….would it?
Carroll, yes he’s hitting .700 but do you think Bobby can figure that out? NO!
May 19th, 20098:57 pm
I still would rather have Jim Thome age and all in stead of flee foot !!
And why again, is it that some people on here bash Kotchman?
May 19th, 20099:00 pm
Chip is a dork!
Well. at least Logan’s making contact instead of K’ing. I’ll take it.
I have to admit it that K-Fer Is looking better…It seems like he has adopted an “hitting the ball inside out approach” and trying to hit the ball to the opposite field…May he turns it around if he keeps it up…
May 19th, 20099:01 pm
Family Guy is the best thing on TBS anymore
May 19th, 20099:03 pm
Necro, I don’t get it either about Kotchman, he’s Atlanta’s Mark Grace and I’m happy with that. He should have been in the no.2 hole since the beginning of the season though.
Let’s see…7 goes into 10 1 time and 3 left over and 7 goes into 30 4 times and 2 left over and 7 goes into 20 2 times and 6 left over…
So kelly Johnson is batting .142 in the 6th spot. What’s so great about that? Back to leadoff he goes.
I’m guessing the Escobar hitting leadoff experiment will go by the wayside.
May 19th, 20099:04 pm
I love how the Peachtree TV people are specifically telling people to crowd around the camera before they cut to the shot to make it look like there are “a ton of people here!”
“There’s no place to even stand. It’s a mad house down here! Hold onto your hat ladies and gents!”
No. Can’t fool me. I’m no feel… I mean, uh, fool.
May 19th, 20099:05 pm
I just think your firstbase man should give you more homeruns and more rbi out of that spot !
Man Double J looks Sick Tonight!!!
May 19th, 20099:06 pm
98 pitches for JJ…
May 19th, 20099:07 pm
ANYONE can match with our top three starters as long as the AWFense doesn’t hit…I might be pessimistic but I’m a realist…
Joe and Chip need to call out our offense and how bad its been
Don’t u mean 98 nose picks for bobby tonight?
May 19th, 20099:08 pm
barmes is what you do after eating worms
Chipper finally makes the play! ‘A’ play. Any play.
Okay, he makes lots of plays but he’s been blowing many of those lately.
May 19th, 20099:09 pm
Now Frenchie’s Attorney you know owa little non-disclosua agreement won’t let me say much. However, you may recall that old joke about why the bride was laughing to herself as she walked down the aisle at her weddin’? Why she knew that hur soon to be husband had gotten the last humma from hur.
You might say Jeffy Baby might be a little tense right now.
May 19th, 20099:11 pm
hammel – 6 innings – 3 earned runs – quality start?
Aight Guys If we employ the same lineup as we did tonight we should split the next two games, if not do better…
Looking ahead at the Jays series…Maybe we take two of three if we run this lineup out there…
I’m already conceding a loss to Roy Halliday…But hopefulle we take the 2 games after that and not get Clowned…
I was gonna send a post when the game was starting but I was not able to because I got busy in a hurry. I was gonna post as soon as I saw KJ hitting down in the order that I would bet that he was gonna go 2 for 4…………….guess that I would have lost that bet, but at least I was gonna be happy since he would do even better…………….
Come on Bobby, “look harder”, “You have forgotten who you are and so have forgotten who KJ is. Look inside yourself, Bobby. You are more than what you have become. You must take your place in the Circle of Life, follow your instincts and keep KJ down in the order.”
May 19th, 20099:12 pm
I was really worried that Bobby was never going to listen to all us experts on the blog and change the lineup. Maybe it was fear of Robert or was it MFin or maybe it was Joebrave? Carroll how about asking Bobby? Well maybe not.
I was gonna call the strike out by JJ but I was working on some stupid little non-joke.
I was going to call beforehand because I knew he would do it but I blew it.
Finally he gets some runs and finally the Braves let somebody else make an error to let the game get out of hand.
We don’t have to be so greedy with the errors. Spread the wealth.
May 19th, 20099:13 pm
You just got to love this lineup tonight…………this is the way things should be from now on, it has nothing to do with the results we have seen from this lineup, but the moment I saw it 2 hours ago, I knew it was the best Bobby has done all year long.
A firstbaseman shouldn’t go after pitches like that !
