Great throw by McCann, whether he got Beltran or not. Looked like he probably got him, despite call. Ballsy move by Beltran to steal third with one out and put the potential tying run on third.

Bobby Cox blew this game, his failure to understand when to take out his starter but this game in jeopardy, pure stupidity. But hey he’s the guy who keeps trotting Kelly Johnson out there so what should we expect from him.

Heath (Cleveland)

More great defense only we didn’t get the call. Another no decision for JJ. That ain’t right.

Here’s where we really need to prove our mettle. Middle of the order.

Game should be over though. Gotta get a run and Soriano better get them out.

As part of an ongoing effort to secure DoD networks, the Joint Task Force – Global Network Operations (JTF-GNO) plans to soon implement Web Whitelist filters at the DoD Internet Access Points. What that means is that Web sites must be on DoD’s Web Whitelist or the DoD Internet Access Points will block all DoD network users from connecting to those sites. The filters will also block “unknown” or “known bad” Web users from connecting to DoD and DCMA Web sites.

Tomas, if the ball beats a runner there, he is always out…its the rule of baseball. Not sure why, but it is.

Moderate Maniac

May 12th, 2009
9:52 pm

Both Mets were out earlier in the game. Both good calls. However, that last call was motivated by two things. Home crowd and the runner was Beltran.

Ump blew the call and in terms of how close was it? It wasn’t. Beltran’s hand slid over Chippers glove while he’s holding the ball. how can you miss that?

Game should be over.

zephyr 8

The ump wasnt in proper position to make that call so I guess he just assumed he was safe.

I thought Beltran would steal in that situation but he definately looked out. Oh well, the HBP didn’t help. Also stranding Schafer who got a leadoff hit didn’t help either. Well got the middle of the order up now.

You’re a loser man. Just an outright loser. In the middle of the inning, with the score tied, you are looking for someone to try to blame – and the game isn’t lost – at least to the team players doing their job and trying to cover up for your loser azz.
