Anything’s better than rolling Moylan out there when the game’s on the line. Not sure about O’Flaherty either here.. Where’s the big guns? Bobby’s giving this one away.
I don’t know that Gonzo is unavailable, just suggesting he might be, but he’s pitched in 5 of the last 7 games and warmed up last night even though he didn’t make an official appearance.
I’m very impressed with Cox yanking Moylan so quickly. It seems he used to just leave guys out there to blow the game. Now its almost as if he’s fighting for his job, eh!
It may be fine, but if Soriano and Gonzo are both available there was no reason to bring in EOF or Moylan. 2 outs in the 8th in a 3-2 game against the Mets, name a better time to go to your guns in the game.
He might not give the power the position calls for but he sure as hell can field the position. A beaut… and retract my last comment about O’Flaherty. He looks sharp. Just feel more comfortable with Gonzo or Soriano in those high pressure situations.
Fielding play in LF by Anderson was terrible. You want to believe he cares, but plays like that suggest otherwise. Sort of, if they double my salaray and pay me what I think I deserve then maybe I’ll try a bit harder.
Nice hit by Ice Cold. KJ just let a good pitch go by. KJ just doesn’t seem to be in sync with bat. Pop up. Aarrgghh!!!
hey, I know it’s kinda irrelevant now, but RBI DOUBLE!!! Too bad it “hit a fan”…dude, that’s the second RBI that’s been taken away from him this year! It’ll even out…I hope…
Puts his AVG with RISP up to .294! Season AVG is looking much better, too. I’ve started my All-Star voting, BTW…
THey aren’t going to show Jo JO the door, it’s obvious this isn’t a performance based organization. If it was Kelly Johnson and 1/3 of this lineup wouldn’t be playing

Moylan just hasn’t been able to get back to his 07 form, where had an ERA of 1.something…
If he gets back to his 07 form then this bulpen is definitely one of the top 3 in baseball.
At least Bobby is trying everything to avoid using Soriano today.
