Very strange decisions here by Cox…no doubt about it. Isn’t JB the guy that should be coming in in the 12th or something after the rest of the ‘pen has come through? It all started with Cox leaving JJ in to pitch to Reyes.

Robert he gave up one hit. The first guy he saw. He would of been fine if the ump didnt blow it. No way Bobby could of prevented the Beltran double. Also to say Gonzo didnt have it is wrong. He kept getting 0-2 and the run scored because of a bad call. You cant always blame Bobby.

There is a valid point here, though. Gonzalez isn’t our best relief pitcher, Soriano is. And the fact that Bobby uses Gonzalez as the closer, well, it doesn’t usually matter. But it might have tonight. I was against using Gonzalez in the first place because he’d pitched 5 of the past 7 days less than 2 years removed from Tommy John surgery with an injury history longer than I-75. He also warmed up yesterday, one of the 2 days in the past week he hasn’t made an appearance.

1.) B.S. Ground rule double on Mac.
2.) The blown call at third base when dude should have been out.
