VERY easy inning…only 80 pitches. No way you pinch-hit for Lowe here, especially since he has 1 of the 6 hits. : )

I’m used to the Phillies field I guess…but Beltran hits the crap out of one…and it went like 300 ft…and looked like it would be out of here by a mile. Utley hits a ball out that looks like it might reach Esco…and its goes 330 feet. What a difference in the two fields.

Bravos2249,
I’d want my best reliever facing Carlos Beltran every time in the 8th or 9th regardless of which hand they pitch with. Although I’m not sure if I like Soriano or Gonzalez better right now.

Mike Hancho – right on – Lemke for manager. Geez, having Schafer in the line-up is like having two pitchers in the batting order.

Hitting a few balls to the opposite field in April didn’t give me cause to jump on the new Frenchy bandwagon.

Well I want Joe Girard as manager. If the Yankees miss the playoffs again he will not be back. That being said I still think he is a great manager, just in a really tough division.

Lowe has done all you could ask of him tonight. Pitched great in fact. This is an ACE vs ACE game and has lived up to that billing, unlike so many games that are thusly billed.

Santana gone but the Mets pen ain’t no easy row to hoe.

Now here comes Prado. HE Killed a pitch from Parnell the other night.

Let’s see how SportsCenter spins this. Well, I know how. When I tuned into the ESPN broadcast for no more than ten seconds they were sure to point out that the run was unearned.

Who gives a s***, it’s a run. A run is a run. Will they point out the luck involved in the Met’s only run? No.

what do you want to bet that was a HR in philly?

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder how it is for the hitters to come from a park where anythings got a chance to go out to a park that looks as big as Citi Field. Citizen’s Bank is a nice looking park but its still a joke. Still a little wierd for me to see Mets fans in such a nice looking park.
