VERY easy inning…only 80 pitches. No way you pinch-hit for Lowe here, especially since he has 1 of the 6 hits. : )
I need to get me one of them there K-Factors

Ok, last week Francouer had made a great turn around. Now he is useless. Did I miss something?
MFin04 (The Hopeless Romantic)
I’m used to the Phillies field I guess…but Beltran hits the crap out of one…and it went like 300 ft…and looked like it would be out of here by a mile. Utley hits a ball out that looks like it might reach Esco…and its goes 330 feet. What a difference in the two fields.
I’d want my best reliever facing Carlos Beltran every time in the 8th or 9th regardless of which hand they pitch with. Although I’m not sure if I like Soriano or Gonzalez better right now.
Steve from OH
Man, Citi Field just looks cavernous. The folks who said it was big weren’t kidding, eh?
May 11th, 20098:55 pm
HAVE ANOTHER DONUT, KOHARSKI!
Claudell might have retaliated. He would get mad about inside pitches he SWUNG AT! lol
Mike Hancho – right on – Lemke for manager. Geez, having Schafer in the line-up is like having two pitchers in the batting order.
I like Citi Field. Then again I love big ballparks.
May 11th, 20098:56 pm
Francoer reminds me of a Britney Spears. When things are going great she’s beautiful, talented and everbody loves her. When not well, trailer trash, bad mom, kids taken away drug addict lol.
hockey fan–best post of the evening!
May 11th, 20098:57 pm
Sadly Lowe’s was a better AB than Francoeur and Schafer gave us last inning
Jeff made a great turnaround last week? Did I miss something?
Hitting a few balls to the opposite field in April didn’t give me cause to jump on the new Frenchy bandwagon.
THAT JUST HAPPENED!
KJ is the best player in the world…I love him again!
Well I want Joe Girard as manager. If the Yankees miss the playoffs again he will not be back. That being said I still think he is a great manager, just in a really tough division.

Finally chased Santana
No more Santana.
here’s the best chance we get…LET’S GO!!!
Six starts against the Braves for Santana, no wins. Pretty amazing.
Good B-Bat single by KJ. Maybe That Gets KJ going, but why the Hell is he leading off, I forgot to mention that 4 hours ago
Lets F-Up the Bullpen, this is our chance!
May 11th, 20098:59 pm
Of course, it probably doesn’t matter bravo2249, because Gonzalez has been used on 5 of the last 6 days including 2 days in a row. I’d imagine he’s unavailable.
Santana out, get a run in. Lowe can go 1+ and a great chance to win the game.
Wow, thanks Willie Randolph.
May 11th, 20099:00 pm
So is McCann wearing his glasses to catch, or no?
Jeffy and Jordan should hit as far away from each other in the lineup as possible. Bat one first and the other ninth if necessary.
Only one of the 28 teams he’s faced in his career without getting a win.
Ray K. did I say you? I was meaning there was plenty on here who said he should be batting cleanup and I took alot of grief when I said he still sucks. That was my point.
rabid in queens
Robert “Bobby” Parnell pitching. He played the older brother on Bonanza.
I’ll take it
haha lol ok no more wine for me lol
May 11th, 20099:01 pm
I like Roseanne Barr. Then again, I like Big women.
She don’t hold a candle to Agnes Moorehead though, Gawd rest her soul.
Parnell throws some serious heat. Its not going to be easy, but then if we could hang a loss on Santana.
Yunie, have a night!
Lowe has done all you could ask of him tonight. Pitched great in fact. This is an ACE vs ACE game and has lived up to that billing, unlike so many games that are thusly billed.
Santana gone but the Mets pen ain’t no easy row to hoe.
Now here comes Prado. HE Killed a pitch from Parnell the other night.
May 11th, 20099:02 pm
AND THE SHUTOUT CONTINUES. BRAVES are the only ML team SANTANA can’t beat!!!! GO BRAVES.
Nice use of the time out there Prado
May 11th, 20099:03 pm
Nice try Santana.
Let’s see how SportsCenter spins this. Well, I know how. When I tuned into the ESPN broadcast for no more than ten seconds they were sure to point out that the run was unearned.
Who gives a s***, it’s a run. A run is a run. Will they point out the luck involved in the Met’s only run? No.
May 11th, 20099:04 pm
The Bravos are Santana’s Twilight Zone.
Come on Brian!
Prado didnt get a hit, but he worked it at least.
Martin…! Come On, That’s 1-8 hitting R.I.S.P.
May 11th, 20099:05 pm
I want to see Mac get back to his old ways. Punch a little double down the left field line
DOB: “Only one of the 28 teams he’s faced in his career without getting a win.”
Yeah, because he’s a Met and we’re the Braves.
what do you want to bet that was a HR in philly?
I was thinking the same thing. I wonder how it is for the hitters to come from a park where anythings got a chance to go out to a park that looks as big as Citi Field. Citizen’s Bank is a nice looking park but its still a joke. Still a little wierd for me to see Mets fans in such a nice looking park.
May 11th, 20099:06 pm
Mitchel, as you probably already know, the outside media has never liked the Braves as far as I can remember.
WOW Johans still winless against the Braves NOW LETS GIVE HIM THE LOSS
May 11th, 20099:07 pm
Francoer reminds me of a Britney Spears. — ground fog
I thought you meant he wasn’t wearing underwear.
it was certainly hit better then the one Utley ut in the seats
this is the game right here
May 11th, 20099:08 pm
Wow, where are the Mets fans?
Nice pickup, Reyes!
The speed of Brian McCann caused that error.
Do the Braves want to win this game or not? Come on boys, lets get some runs!!!
Come on Matty!
May 11th, 20099:09 pm
All those necklaces blocked his vision.
mets playing defense like…the mets. love it
I can remember when Gammons was kinda pro-Braves.
Come on Walk!
walk would be nice
Time for our infamous RBI on a bases-loaded walk.
Muts are famous chokers.
Be ready Matty, you’ll see something to hit!
May 11th, 20099:10 pm
No Mfin they dont want to win. Geeze your a moron.
OMG I would love a walk
Way to go Matty!!
YES!! Have a day, Matty D!
There We Go Matty-D Lovely!

May 11th, 20099:11 pm

there we go! Nice MattE!
there we go baby Love MY BRAVES AHHHHHHHHHHHH AH AHHHHHHHHH AH AHHHHHHHHHHH AH AH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I absolutely love matty diaz. I will never again wish for Loaf to play instead of Matty.
HOW DO YOU LIKE MATTY BASEBALL NOW!!! Thank you very much Ho-zay Ho-zay Ho-zay Ho-zay
Guess Casey’s hand is OK )
Yeaaahhhh! There We Go Kotchy!!!!
Anybody fell outa this ballpark yet? Disgusting Muts fans will find a way to fall/jump.
So that Matt Diaz can hit the lefties? I dont do this often, but a GREAT move by Bobby hitting Matt behind McCann…they bring in the lefty to face McCann…but Matty behind him hits lefties well!!!!!
I LOVE CASEY K!!!!!! I used to hate him, but he is on FIRE!!!
Yeah, Gammons has been pro-brave quite often.
Kotchy 2 more rbi’s
May 11th, 20099:12 pm
Boo birds sound saweeet!
Hey Mets fans,
Go **** yourselves. OHHH!
Matty, you’re back on my good side. The Kotchman!!!
Mets ‘pen…just because you get yourselves a closer doesn’t mean your ‘pen is any better
The wind just blew out of the ESPN announcers! Diaz and Kotchman just ruined their nights. Oh yeah, Mutts and their fans too.
How about them apples…I wonder if Reyes will do some fancy hand slappin’ and foot stoppin’ when he gets back to the dugout
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
