No duh. Youk is off to an incredible start. I was complaining about Morgan, not saying Youk is overrated. If Morgan had said, “in addition to hitting .393, he’s also got a X OBP, a X SLG%, and X HR”, he’d have done a much better job of illustrating his point rather than saying, “and he’s not just hitting .393, but it’s a hard .393″.

I was supposed to be somewhere but it got cancelled so I’m still watching. Yaay me!
That double play was amazing especially since Kelly almost blew that play to end the inning. I literally can’t believe they turned that. That’s just not like Kelly.
And I’m not going to say anything to the Mets people loitering on the blog until after the game so in the meantime I’ll just say, you suck.

It gonna be interesting what will the braves get when they try to get rid of KJ……….He should have been gone when we were able to at least get another MLB player for him and not six pack of Coca cola……….
This is not a slump anymore………he is just bad. His glove is looking better but man does he looks bad at the plate.

Yeah, when the Americans captured Mobile from the French in 1896, they dropped the accent from the “e.” It was formerly “Mobilay.” Hence the Frenchness.
That might not be entirely accurate.

To say kelly isn’t slumping and is simply bad seems a little exagerrated to me… he certainly looked bad on that pitch, but that what Santana does, he makes you look bad, especialy when he’s on top of his game. I really wouldn’t expect a slumping hitter to start getting hot against a pitcher throwing as well as he is.
Of course, in-game pessimism is the way this blog works, so i don’t know why i even bother.

jeff francoeur is useless. Absolutely useless. Does he even have an idea, any semblance of a strategy other than just swing that slow lumbering golf swing of his at the first pitch each and every time?
He has ZERO power now and can’t even hit doubles anymore. I bet his stats look like this at the all star break: .235 6 HR 31 RBI
