the fact of the matter is we are up 6-1 BUT they are saying our offense stinks…unearned runs or not the only one that really wasn’t driven in on a hit was the one on the error by David Wright…..it was a hit by Diaz but the error allowed the run. Whether the run is earned or unearned you have to hit the ball to drive em in.

You’re absolutely right. ESPN’s analysis of the Braves’ weaknesses is accurate. But what are the Mets weaknesses though? I haven’t heard them touch on that yet. Hmm now why is that??

Maybe they can lock the BRAVES up in a hotel in downtown Atlanta when they get home. Don’t let them sleep in their beds at home. Don’t let them see the wife-girlfriends-kids. They’ll think they are on the road and maybe will win some games at home!

TnBrian,

Why is that when non-Brave announcers do what they are paid to do and analyze the game and the players, they are taking shots at the Braves? If they are taking shots by analyzing, then they called Reyes out on his boot. Wright out on his boot and Beltran out on that crazy throw at the top of the inning!

I think some Braves fans have a hard time hearing the game without the Braves homer announcer filters. Now that being said, I would rather listen to the Braves homers if it’s Joe and Boog. Chip makes me want to throw something at the TV. If it’s on SS or FS, I would watch it there. As I said, I like it without the hometown filter sometimes.

And one final thought. I don’t see where the announcers belittle the non NEW YORK-CHICAGO-BOSTON teams, but there is no doubt they surely do find more superlatives to spout out about teams from those markets when they are playing well.

I do give you that point.

PS
Now the announcers are calling out the Mets on their attitude and desire so don’t say they are picking on the Braves!
