I hope when the Braves got rid of Boyer it proved they weren’t going to put up with that type of pitching this year. Blaine sucked. WHy the Cards signed him..IDK….But hopefully jojo will go..I’ve never like Bennett either.

tonight, marlis are winning, mets are winning, WORLD CHAMPS ARE WINNING and braves losing. at the end of this trip you guys will be 7 out of first. for sure 6 out on sunday, 6 is a lot see you in 2010.

Jo-Jo has given up seven homers in 11 innings in his past three games (two starts) at Philly.
By the way, Hanson pitched May 5, just in case anyone’s trying to figure out whether he might be a possibility to take Reyes’ next turn at NY on May 13. I don’t think that’ll happen, but we’ll see what Bobby Cox says afterward about Reyes staying in rotation.

I am a true Braves fan, I watch win or lose, but something needs to be done within our upper management. We have talented players at Triple A. Bobby Cox loves proven players, but the only thing Reyes and Bennett have proven is that they suck. Give Hanson and Medlen a chance. How can Wren and Cox not be tired of watching this crap.

Why man?? I just dont understand how this team cannot get hits when it needs them. I mean, we are down by 5 runs in the 8th and no one can get on base and drive anyone in, meanwhile, in the bottom of the inning, the Phillies get people on and get them in. terry pendleton needs to go. Seriously

I remember ‘86 but I think I missed the end of game 6 when Shiraldi, Stanley and Buckner decided to play for the other team because I had to get up the next day to go to the 2nd grade.

Can anyone in in the Braves management swallow their pride long enough to admit that Jordan Schafer is overmatched? Can Bobby Cox stop making excuses for the poor kid and let him get some more seasoning in Gwinnett? This guy’s gonna strike out 250 times this year. Blanco may be struggling, but at least he can get on base and make better contact, and (gasp!) steal a base or two.
