Stolen base on a pitch out. Ross dropped the ball on the transfer.

Now they’re intentionally walking Berkman.

This team is looking more and more like a team from the 80s every day.

Today, when there’s any kind of break (between innings, change pitcher etc.), it stays on break. I have to cancel it and then log in all over again. I keep missing parts of innings. If the inning is short enough, it could be back to break again. Fortunately, I have satellite radio, so I’m not missing the action. To sum it up, MLB compucast SUCKS (thanks for teaching me that, McFann)

“No. Moylan should have held the runner on second, so that he didn’t get such a lead that he could take third without a throw.”

Didn’t we have a pitchout on? A runner going to 3rd is almost dead to rights on that play… if the catcher doesn’t drop the ball.

More sound fundamental baseball from the Astros. 6-4 Houston.

There’s a big difference in “gifts” and “fundamental baseball”. Moylan was in a generous, gift giving mood today.

Pretty doggone easy to steal when Moylan is daydreaming on the mound…

abwright

mbatl The pitch out was on Bourn’s steal of second. After the intentional walk to Berkman, Bourn stole third uncontested, I think on the first pitch after the IBB.

Hey, on Moylan, the guy has been very good since his first two outings. He still doesn’t have his command back completely. Plus, sometimes pitchers give up runs. Sorry to make excuses, but I think he’ll be okay. Just need a 3-run homer and all will be fine!

That 1 out to 2 out hitting with RISP has to do with guys trying to do too much with less than two outs…like hitting a HR. That’s what I think and oh yeah, we need Mac’s butt in that lineup ASAP!!

The Krotch works the count back from 1-2 to draw a walk. Diaz to second.
