Damnit man… Lowe must not have his best stuff tonight. Every inning has been an adventure. It would REALLY suck to lose this game to Hampton and the Stros.

cabravesfan – did you mean to ask what’s going on with the game, as opposed to what’s going ok with the game? Hampton has retired 10 in a row – the Astros tied the game on a near DP where Infante’s throw to first was wide.
Bobby: “Okay, guys. They tied it up. Let’s go out there in the bottom of the 4th and swing at the first pitch and give Hampton a 1-2-3 inning on 5 pitches.”
Well yeah, she’s annoying, too, but ya don’t have to go that far…um…Yeah, though, they oughta just trash all their minutes–and anyway, you can’t just hand out minutes, they’re on you friggin’ phone, aren’t they?

Chipper and Yunel are in a grudge match for least patient hitters in the NL. Coming into the game, they were last (Yunel with 2.95 pitches per PA) and next-to-last (Chipper at 3.16 pitches per PA). Out of 113 qualified hitters.

I said a little bit of his butt cheeks. A tiny bit. Just enough to make the crowd laugh and laugh. And it would make Hampton feel so dumb.
It was SO humid late this afternoon here, like August humidity, all my clothes were wringing wet after I ran, yuck. Is it like that in atlanta tonight?
The contacts made his eyes to dry–drops didn’t help–and he went 1-6 with a double, a walk, a run scored, and two strikeouts in his rehab assignment in Myrtle Beach.
DOB’s got an article about it up on the AJC Braves page. Bowmen’s also got one on the “Official Site”.
Mitchell- what part of a LITTLE bit of Hampton’s butt cheeks. It wouldn’t be a lot! Just a little skin. Just enough to get the crowd to laugh at him and make him embarrassed.
What exactly do you mean you think that Hanson’s pitch counts have hurt him? Do you think that because he’s not throwing as many pitches it’s somehow messing him up? (Roman Gal)
No right now he is throwing too many pitches to get the number of outs he is getting. He has had to be pulled by the 5th inning in most starts cause he has already reached the 100 pitch count limit. It would likely be worse if he were up with the big club pitchjing against hitters who Fot The Most Part have better place discipline. He just needs to get a little better command so he can go farther into games. Lotsa young pitchers have the same problem.
No, MITCHELL! I’m done with you. You clearly don’t understand how amazing it would be for Hampton to tear his pants exposing a tiny bit of his butt cheeks which would make the crowd laugh at him.
No to the people who think Richie Sexson would be good….You people have clearly not watched any baseball if you think he is still decent. DOB gave the numbers last blog.

Holy Crap, Well, Anderson did hit .293, 15 HR, 90 RBI last year, not to mention hitting something like .374 with RISP.
Sounds valuable to me for a team struggling to score runs. Especially when the guy getting all the playing time in his place is hitting .225.
