“Right Shoulder Fatigue.”

I didn’t know that’s what they were calling throwing meat these days.

Braves are 4-2 in their last six games before this one, despite hitting .240 in that stretch and scored two runs or fewer four times (had a 1-0 win and a 2-1 win)

DirtyYuni,

“Right Shoulder Fatigue” is only the name in the National League. In the American League, it’s an “Injured Toe” (Wang of the Yankees).

Got to be an uncomfortable feeling for a corner infielder charging the plate on what they think will be a bunt and the batter pulls the bat back and swings…Make ya grab a handful of grass and pray for a swing and miss…. Or at least hope they hit it the other way.

Yeah, I’d hate to be a 3b having to charge what I thought was a bunt. Furcal used to be the best at showing bunt and then “punching” a hit….I actually saw him “bunt” for a triple once….over the 3rd baseman’s head, and by the time the left fielder got there he was sliding into 3rd.

They’ve not been hit well but the inning was set up by being aggressive on the base paths early in the inning instead of just playing dead there and waiting for the three-run homer that doesn’t come.

While Kotchman has no HRs, his 9 doubles is one off of the MLB leading total of 10 — so he isn’t just a singles hitter.

macdwolfpack

The bigger question is what are the Braves and Cox thinking putting a power hitter Chipper in front of singles/doubles hitter. Most managers in little league know better, but not the Braves.
