It only ate the posts that had your “ImageShack” link. Other than that, I haven’t lost one in a long time. However, it ate it every time I tried to send it(3).
BTW,I taught myself to type, after I had a computer for a while. Typing “strong” isn’t a problem. Getting used to the less/greater than symbols will take me a little time.
Keylargo… I have compared it to the 3 game winning rbi’s in the 8 wins that he’s played in… I’ve also compared it to the .105 average with 1 rbi, 3 runs, 6 SO’s, 3 BB’s, and 1 CS, and 0 SB’s from the lead-off position in the 10 losses the Braves have. Not so hot! So until he proves to everyone that he deserves to start everyday… maybe it is time for him to sit for a while.
You want to hear an amazing stat? That was only the SECOND unearned run the Braves have scored all season. Opponents had made just FIVE errors against them in 20 games.
So the Braves not only have very little offense, but have gotten very few breaks.
Epinephrine, you’re right. I don’t expect a blow by blow description of everything that goes on at the high-A affiliate, but the lack of news on what’s up with top prospect Heyward (and obviously something is up) is just amazing.
Hey, here’s a crazy idea. Let’s all be happy the team is playing well instead of trying to find some way to tie it back to how you don’t like Kelly Johnson. It’s getting pretty old, and the only thing I’ve got to say on the subject is I hope that he gets back on track soon.
Seriously, why has Bobby hit and run twice tonight and sent a runner for a steal tonight? He hasn’t even offered to do that this year.
Input from the coaching staff? Is he reading the blog where people are slamming him for not trying to make something happen with the struggling offense?
Considering where Pujols was drafted, every team in the majors can wonder what things would be like if they got him. The fact of the matter is that he was not well viewed as much of a prospect at all, and was only drafted because he played junior college ball near St. Louis, so they got a better look at him than most. Joe just told a story on TV that years ago St. Louis made a trade with the Royals where the Royals were to receive a “player to be named later”. St. Louis gave the Royals a list of players they could choose from and on that list….Albert Pujols.
Embizzle – Good answer. I don’t mind someone with a differing opinion if they can back it up.
The fact remains that KJ is a very talented, team oriented player. He is just not a lead off man, but he did it for 20 games without BWCing. I look forward to having him back in the lineup hitting somewhere from 5th to 8th.
‘
Not “trying” to bash Kelly… was simply trying to congratulate Omar for his spendid play thus far. If he keeps playing like this for an extended period of time, why not pencil him in as the starting 2B based on his performance, and his performance alone. Regardless of anybody else’s performance.
Maybe he realized that the tactics used up to this point haven’t been working and he is trying something different. Contrary to popular belief, Bobby has a pretty good idea what he’s doing.
Looks like Vazquez is going to like Turner Field. He’s given up a bunch of fly balls that would, in a smaller park, have been home runs. At TF, his ERA just goes down a little bit more.
Keylargo… I agree with you on all fronts. He has loads of potential, and at times he has proven it. I wish he was hitting in the 7th hole and proving me wrong.
Omar is far 2 valuable as our super utility player, his job is to spell these guys when needed.not saying he isn’t doing a great job leading off and playing 2nd.
