you got a dirty mind gal.
I have one of those medical beds where the feet and head raise up. The vibrator wave is to help circulation to the legs. Yeah I know I just opened myself up again.
cabravesfan, yeah, he’s not only a good hitter, he seems as though he’s a hell of a nice person. I wish he would play more. Bobby gave him a chance last year, but he didn’t do well in the beginning, and then he got hurt. It wouldn’t bother me, too much, if Garret had to rest for a while.
“Derek is racking up the pitches already 65 and not through the 4th yet”
Yeah, and he’s laboring.
T’hawkin, there was no play from the warning track to 2b. You wanted Derek Lowe chugging from 1st to 3rd, and now a throw to 2nd on a fly ball to the wall… are you watching the same game as the rest of us, or just have a different view of things?
2-2 game inning over. Derek is having trouble locating that sinker. Throwing a lot in dirt then trying to overcorrect and getting them high enough where they got tagged that inning
..it makes a good enough sample not to be ignored. (Doc)
not really. Chipper had 500+ AB at .249 one year, that’s more ABs that Marteen’s MLB totals and obviously meant nothing. Plus there is the different ways that their S& are affected. Prado’s S% is somewhat dependent on his BA while Kelly’s is affected more by actual extra base production. Why don’t you look up their isolated power figures?
McFann, if you’re still up, you need to alter your rally turtles. That is, if you want them to be the same as they were in that 11-1 rout of the Pirates. They had their legs retracted on Sunday. Not that I’m superstitious.
Carroll– no prob. If you get an itch for some sweet tea back home, head across the river to Arlington to Red, Hot and Blue. It’s not great BBQ, but it’s the best in the DC-area, and certainly the only place you’ll find sweet tea.
And if you’re staying out and about, head over to Ford’s Theater. Few folks rarely get over there and fewer still go across the street to where Pres. Lincoln actually passed. Amazing stuff is all around that city. I do miss it sometimes.
Over the Last 3 years This team has to be worst in the League in executing fundamentals…Tough to keep watching Crap like this be the deciding points in close games….
seemed like the SS was just standing at the bag waiting for a throw. I’m a Braves’ fan and all, but I don’t think it was interference. Unless he was knocked cold for a few seconds, why didn’t Ross just get back to the bag?

He looked like he was standing there thinking “wait, am I for the team with the baserunner guy… or with the fielder? I think the baserunner is mine… better not chance it.”
The basepath belongs to the runner in a rundown, whereas a runner doesn’t own the basepath if he nails a fielder trying to field a batted ball.
Fielder can place himself in the path of the runner when trying to receive a throw, but once the throw is past him (ie to a fielder behind him or in this case off Ross’ head) he must vacate the basepath and not park there looking stunned like the Nationals SS did. The fielder is NOT allowed to impede the progress of the baserunner once the above examples exist.

Use MattE-D from innings 1-7 and use B. Jones as a defensive replacement in the later innings…
