If Braves think they can win with this bullpen they are only kidding themselves. I know it’s early but other than Soriano, Carlyle, and Gonzalez the rest of this bullpen right now is very suspect. Who in the world ever thought Boyer deserved to be in the Braves bullpen needs to be fired! He is the Chris Rietsma/Dan Kolb of this Braves team. Awful, just absolutely awful for a team that has so much potential.

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THis is the biggest load of BullSH3T I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need a whole new bullpen! Boyer and O’Flaherty need to be DFA’d, Moylan needs to be sent to AAA to build arm strength. Bennett needs to be DFA’d as well. Trade Campillo for some bats. Keep Soriano and Gonzalez, bring up Medlen, Morton, Logan and whoever. Just get those losers out of our bullpen@!!!!!

Is it time for the fire Bobby chants? He runs his boys out there…but he puts them in situations to fail…just assassin. Boyer sucks…we all called it before the inning started sooo why the hell do managers put guys in like that? If he cant get out of an inning without giving up runs…why the hell do you put him in when its 5-4? Now its 7-4 this is not that complicated.

UMMM…………..WTF is wrong with our relief crew???? Moylan shows that hes still not back from TJ…. O’Crappy finally gets a strike out and then Boyer stinks up the place! God why do we still have Boyer??????? The kid has NEVER been good.
Thank god we have Soriano or we will give up EVERY game!
Wren better make a trade for a PROVEN arm or bring Medlen up.

Well after such an impressive start our Bravos are now failing at all aspects except maybe starting pitching. but given that are starters are not exactly pitching efficiently, they are coming out by the 5th and 6th, which leaves plenty of time for our bullpen to blow it.

this is my first post on the great DOB blog. I am a long time braves fan and understand that the season is veery young. However, if this is the result we will be getting from our bullpen all year its gonna be a long one. I mean is it really too much to expect guys to throw strikes. And Boyer needs to find himself the next bus out of the Atl. My 11 year old daughter would at least throw a freakin strike

For this team to make the Playoffs….they’re missing at LEAST…two or three quality arms in the ‘Pen…other than Soriano, Carlyle and Gonzo…everyone is worthless except Moylan who just needs arm strength(AAA may do some good)…

This is already the same old Braves of late. Chipper is gonna be hurt every other week, cant beat good teams at home, cox is gonna keep running the same people out of the bullpen that cant get the job done. I have been saying this for several years and i am gonna say it again, Boyer sucks and its that simple!!

Schafer makes a bad play there should have held the runner…but instead lets him go to third…which ends up costing the Braves a run. Campillo is great when he starts innings…he isnt good in the middle…why then would Bobby bring him in to fail? does he watch the Braves games? CAMPILLO HAS TO START INNINGS!!!

From the looks of it, the Braves never deserved to be tied for first. This team absolutely sucks. Its either try to hit a homer every time or if that fails the bullpen just totally puts the game out of reach.

I hope that the next time the Braves need to make a roster move, they designate Boyer for assignment, either trade him or reassign him to the minors, to fix his mechanics and throw strikes for a change.

Soriano looks good, Gonz ok so far but a little iffy, Carlyle looks good, O’Lefty is hit or miss, Moylan should be good in a couple more weeks, Campizie not too bad, (Boyer needs to go) . . but just what if we would have given the 1mil we gave to Glavine to Ohman. Wren has to be looking back at letting Ohman go as a mistake.

wow bullpen gave it up again, the D was good, the starting was pretty good, our offense was atleast producing but now we’re back tot he Braves of 07… HORRIBLE bullpen… i know its early but this is unacceptable… moves need to be made, or something, AND WHY WASNT GONZO BROUGHT IN?? instead we used the same bunch that blew our sweep against the phils..

This team won’t contend with this bullpen…and without another big bat in the lineup for the 40+ games Chip will miss…GA wasn’t the answer. If he is, we were asking the wrong question. I don’t think we are that far off, but as everyone knows; spending money on Tommy G instead of the bullpen was a mistake.

Sooo i got one Reliever who is “lights out” on our own team…..Schafer was 11-0 with a 0.71 ERA, striking out 140 batters in 76 innings during his senior year in high school…..Just saying… lol

What is all the complaining about? If you have been following the Braves for the last 3 years you are seeing the EXACT same thing that happens night after night. Bullpen sux, Cox makes STUPID managing moves, and front office does NOTHING about it. SOS. Cox has to go. I don’t care how much he is revered in this town.
