Good job Casey…way to get to second as well…heads up baserunning too.
Now would be an opportune time for all the Kotchman haters to step right up!
April 15th, 20098:33 pm
The pagan bovine idol’s arm is moving. or paw. or whatever. they shot that baby with some WD40 and the Braves are in bidness.
Lowe has pitched brilliantly to start the season. Tough inning just now, but he’s been very good thus far.
Looking forward to seeing what Kotch and The Elfin One do against Miller here…
Here come the Bravos! This game will absolutely drive you NUTS!
Run Heap Run
I wish it had been this fun last night. I think they only did the chop once all night last night. It was dead, this is a much better crowd watching a much better game.
04 here we go.
More people at tea party than ball game.
JasonInFL (Formerly ME)
Record Keeper, that was pretty funny…
April 15th, 20098:34 pm
Oh hell no.
IF IT’S FAIR IT’S GONE. Lol, it was about 10 feet short.
I hate Chip Caray.
Douchebag Dayn Perry
April 15th, 20098:35 pm
Lowe is a douche? I don’t think so.
SCHAFER KILLING ME MAN….KILLING ME!
Wow, Bobby had to remind him to run. Schafer k’s.
April 15th, 20098:36 pm
Schafer may have beaten that out if he ran…but it kills his check swing argument.
Ground out to the pitcher, Francouer scores.
April 15th, 20098:37 pm
I don’t care what any of you say about Prado. From what I’ve seen, dude can hit.
Good job Martin, way to get the run in.
ohhh that was not good…when Bobby says run…you run…I sense a Benching..ala Andruw Jones
Eric from MO
Left to eat dinner we were tied 1-1. Came back and we were down 4-1. Now its 4-3. I aint leaving. Im good luck!
Base knock by KJ and we’re back square.
Frank from KS
April 15th, 20098:38 pm
Hey, 4-3 boys.
We’re within a run now…opps…wait, Bennett is coming in, ain’t he?
Kelly walks, probably pitched around him to get to Infante, maybe?
April 15th, 20098:39 pm
A walk’s not all bad either, though…
April 15th, 20098:40 pm
Come on Omar!!!
bravos he wont get benched. When Andruw did it was because he wasnt trying. Schafer just didnt know the pitch got away from the catcher and he was argueing he didnt swing. Schafer has played plenty hard. He will get a pass.
Miller is on the ropes. He looks turrible right now, meatball coming right up.
April 15th, 20098:42 pm
That my man omarrrrrrrrrrrrrr. great hitting.
Infante bloops to center GAME TIED BABY.
Awesome AB Omar! Way to get double pits to chesty! Lowe off the hook!
April 15th, 20098:43 pm
Excellent at bat by Infante.
Infante blooped that one right into no-man’s land there in shallow CF. Tie game. My, my.
Omar! This team does have a great bench.
Very entertaining game
Lowe off the hook. Infante is a stud….heal up Chipper…he’s got your back until you’re good.
Steve from OH
April 15th, 20098:44 pm
Wow couldn’t have thrown it out there any better…Braves catch a break, it’s about time.
Hayden Penn in…it’ll be interesting to see what he does. Remember when the denizens were foaming at the mouth over him?
Has MF04 had a seizure yet?
how ’bout a big hit by Esco??
Nice comeback by the Braves! Good at-bats – they let Miller hang himself.
Coach (Skip and Pete will be missed)
Lowe is off the hook, here comes the bullpen or will it be the blowpen? I can’t watch.
April 15th, 20098:45 pm
While it sounds like Omar found a “hole” with that hit, he certainly earned it, as has the rest of the lineup this inning.
I understand that there is a time to be aggressive at the plate. But this inning is a perfect example of what guys not hacking can do by being patient and not getting off balance. 3 runs without the benefit of a 3R HR. Hmmm. Imagine that.
Nicely done boys.
Too bad its now up to the bullpen to hold it. LOL!
April 15th, 20098:46 pm
DOB;sMom why don’t you use you real name. You are an A-Hole
Escobar lines out to center :/
rob from sc
April 15th, 20098:47 pm
Esco hit that haard
Did someone order 3 runs?
damn, i needed esco to get a hit so Lowe could get the win for my fantasy team (:
come on bravos, we need to win this series…which obviously starts with a win tonight!!
Boyer LOVES Cox
April 15th, 20098:48 pm
Just stay away from Bennett. O’Flarahty too, since he was used last night.
WOOHOO! Way to tie it up boys!!
N8, you mean you don’t have faith in Jeff Bennett? BLASPHEMY, SIR, BLASPHEMY.
April 15th, 20098:49 pm
What’s with Esco tonight?
Lol gotta love Bobby…he thought the game was over at 4-1….but at 4-4 he puts in Buddy…what a character he is.
April 15th, 20098:50 pm
He better not start walking people.
Anyone else stuck watching the Mets-Padres game? Joe Morgan is driving me insane.
Buddy K’s bonafacio, great start.
April 15th, 20098:52 pm
The one thing that stands out to me in the pitching line is Lowe’s 5 walks tonight. Doesnt he normally have pretty good command?
Baker grounds out to Escobar, terrible throw to 1st, Kotchman saves an error.
MFin you complain about everything. Escobar is hitting .500 with RISP. Geeze, he cant get a hit everytime.
April 15th, 20098:53 pm
As rough as we have been on Casey for his bat….the kid is darn good at first with his glove.
Kotchman almost got hit in the choppers’ with that bouncer from Escobar.
I don’t want to pile on Schafer, but there was no argument to be had there. The umpire already said they he swung. He would have had a better chance of beating the throw to first then convincing the umpire to change his call by not running. With that said, Schafer’s been playing his rear off, so I’m willing to give him a little mistake.
April 15th, 20098:54 pm
Ramirez flys out to Francouer.
Esco is hitting over .300, which we have learned from MFin, means he’s doing awful and is probably injured.
What do you think…Buddy going one more?
Great pick by Kotchman, great work by Buddy
I don’t have the game on TV- what’s the size of the crowd? The games here in Coors for the Rox are pitiful. Wondering if the Braves are putting more backsides in the seats. Do you have to pay extra to sit next to the talking cow?
Where is my post? Anyway here it is again..
Kotchman almost got hit in the choppers’ on that throw from Escobar!
April 15th, 20098:55 pm
Nice inning by Buddy.
I am Arizona.
They just talked about the NBA playoffs.
Interested while you are right, I dont think Scafer realized the ball got away. You have to remember everything happens in the matter of sec.
April 15th, 20098:56 pm
Eeerrr…..anyone still want to nag on Kotchman….GREAT D
April 15th, 20098:57 pm
McCann grounds out to 1st :/
April 15th, 20098:58 pm
Good to see the passion from Schafer; he’ll learn to control it.
Terrible swing by Diaz, K.
April 15th, 20099:00 pm
Francouer flys out to center.
Francoeur has a good AB there…took some pitches…got something he liked…just didnt get enough of it.
Jeff gave that a ride.
April 15th, 20099:01 pm
siap, but chip just said that schafer has struck out 7 of his last 9 ABs. thats a little troubling. the pitchers seem to have adjusted to him, now its time for him to adjust to the pitchers adjustment. i have faith in the kid though…
April 15th, 20099:02 pm
They went on and on about the play by Murphy in LF when he threw it in on what appeared to be a designed play and how it cost them the run because its an odd play and he bounced it to Reyes. But they didn’t even mention the fact that Reyes’ throw didn’t make it to the mound before it skipped to the catcher! They seriously talked about it for like 10 min and never mentioned Reyes’ poor throw!!
What is the deal with McCann past couple of games? 0 for 3 today and I dont remember what he did yesterday.
April 15th, 20099:03 pm
JasonInFL needed esco to get a hit so Lowe could get the win for my fantasy team
Yeah, it woulda been nice if Escobar woulda gotten on base…but that woulda made McCann’s out that much uglier.
Is there any reason Buddy didnt stay in? He looked good.
We ready for ERA updates on Pete?
April 15th, 20099:04 pm
Original Jon 0 for 3 today and I dont remember what he did yesterday.
I do–0-4. Sunday he was 1-3, and Saturday he was 0-4. Dude’s not been good lately.
Bobby is probably hoping that with the top of the line up coming up, Moylan/Ramirez/Soriano will hold them at four runs MF.
April 15th, 20099:05 pm
Francoeur looks a helluva lot better than last year. He’s proved he’ll listen and be open to change.
April 15th, 20099:06 pm
Im thinking Buddy goes 7, Moylan Soriano Gonzo could get 8/9
Cantu singles to center, here we go.
April 15th, 20099:07 pm
Well, not sure with Chipper being out that we can afford to really have Mac go 0 for whatever. Maybe move Kelly into cleanup and Mac 5th until he gets his stroke back, IDK, what do you think?
Uggla is killing us this series and carrying my fantasy squad.
April 15th, 20099:08 pm
Boyer LOVES Cox
How could have pichers have adjusted to him?
This is what….game #7 and they’ve only played 2 teams before tonight (3 now counting the Marlins).
I would imagine after 15, 20, 25 or so games…..the scouting report will get around the league somewhat on Schafer…then pitchers will begin to disect him…but until then, he’s somewhat of a unknown, as to his batting/swing and what he does with the bat.
McCann isnt playing tomorrow…it will most likely be Ross.
April 15th, 20099:09 pm
Moylan K’s Uggly, 1 out.
Uggla missed that pitch by 3 or 4 feet, lol
April 15th, 20099:10 pm
MFin04 McCann isnt playing tomorrow…it will most likely be Ross.
Cantu steals 2nd.
April 15th, 20099:11 pm
Intentional walk to Hermida.
Moylan hit ross, bases freeking loaded.
