I think the red jerseys look cheap, at least on television. Have only seen them once in person, and they didn’t bother me as much. But, we won the game that I saw in person.

We really don’t have much positive history in those jerseys, either.

We won our last division wearing red on Sundays; but, we lost our only play-off game (to Houston, game 1 in 2005) when wearing red.

I’ve got a question for some of the great minds on the blog, you know – those who can figure VORP and stuff like that.

People, me included, are saying that 4 teams in the NL East can win the division and 85 or 90 games. With the weighted schedule, how hard is that going to be to have 4 teams with a .500+%. They will be beating each other up regularly and play each other, what, 18 times? It will take a great record in games out of the division

Stolen base, aggressive baserunning for a double, aggressive baserunning for a triple — Coach must be euphoric!

Coach: “AHHH baloney, Prado got jobbed!”

Oh. Okay.

The only judgment involved is whether there WAS [baserunner] interference, not whether it affected the play.

Or whether it was inadvertent, or was attempted to be avoided, or whatever.

Here I am, on Easter Sunday, at my mom’s house. My mom doesn’t have cable. So I’d love to give MLB $15 of my hard-earned cash for an MLB.tv pass to see the game on my computer. Of course, thanks to MLB’s asinine blackout rules (since the game is on FSS cable) MLB doesn’t want my money.

So phbbbbt, I’m retaliating by listening to the game on a non-authorized streaming radio link. MLB, #@*% off!

brewdawg, there’s negativity on this blog, even if he throws a perfect game. Don’t worry about it.

Jeff, I have a pretty old pioneer 53″ or whatever it is, which it’s a nice tv, but there’s at least 2/3 inches of black on the bottom of the screen…people look like midgets. JJ gets too high of a pitch count, too dang early. He’s a good one though.

Some of ya’ll are too supersticious. Yeah, they haven’t won crap since ‘05, not because of the red jersey’s etc., but because they just flat out sucked! ‘09 is looking like the Braves of the 90’s. All around solid team.

I haven’t seen you on here before, so you’ll need to understand that we have bloggers on here that have a real difficult time being happy with anything our Hall of Fame Manager does. I call them Negative Nellies.

Now, on the other hand, they will say I am drinking the Atlanta Braves/Bobby Cox kool-aid, which is probably true. What I like to think of it as being a “fan” of our team.

We kool-aid drinkers can get frustrated, but we try to exercise a measure of patience not normally shown by “Negative Nellies”.
