keylargo what about my post made you think i didnt look at stats? i did look at his stats, and, duh. i know he was injured…thats why i mentioned he only made 20 starts since his no hitter. also, since coming back from injury last year, he hasnt looked good. the guy still has some proving to do, buddy.

remember kerry wood? if i remember right, the guy was awesome, got hurt and it lingered for like 3 years, before he became a closer. (and a pretty good one)

same thing happend to his teammate mark prior, right? got overused at a young age, got hurt and still hasnt really recovered.

to suggest that sanchez has proved himself is silly, keylargo.

Anibal Sanchez was out the majority of 2007 and 2008 after being operated on by Dr. Andrews. He is healthy now for the first time since 2006. If you would look at the stats, you would see he pitched very briefly at the start of 2007, was injured and had season ending surgery, and came back 15 months later in 2008, late in the season.

Oh boy here we go again. Let’s not put ideas in Bobby’s head about a platoon for CF. The only way Schafer gets better against lefties is to get ab’s against lefties. Besides we need Schafer’s defense out there and Moyer isn’t a power lefty so Schafer will be fine. Just needs to stay back and wait for the junk, just like the rest of the team.
