You are an idiot. The Braves had the entire team on the DL last year. This is not the case this year, so don’t compare the two. As far as your big name pitching, the only big name on your staff is Hamel who is already experiencing elbow trouble. No one else on your entire rotation, scares anybody, especially that old ass Moyer. You are an insult to Phillies fans who are normally classy. The only thing better about the Phillies vs Braves is your team has alot more speed. That’s it. The only BP worth mentioning that you have is Lidge, and I doubt he is going to repeat from last year. If Moylan, Soriano, and Gonzales are healthy, and it appears that they are, then I wouldn’t be so quick to write them off, they can be FILTHY. Lastly, you need to worry about your own team, with Hamel’s elbow problem, Utley’s hip problem, and your moron BP guy who got a 50 game suspension, you should just shut it. Youre no better than a Mets troll.

Washington Post today picks NL East: 1 – Mets 2 – Braves 3 – Phillies
“There are far fewer question marks about the Atlanta Braves’ rotation,which is the division’s deepest, thanks to the additions of consistent 15-win sinkerballer Derek Lowe, consistent 200-inning man Javier Vazquez and Japanese import Kenshin Kawakami.
Talk about deep – the No. 4 starter (Jair Jurrjens) won 13 games as a rookie in 2008, their No. 5 starter (Tom Glavine) has won a mere 305 games in his career and their top reinforcement (Tommy Hanson, set to arrive around May or June) is the division’s best prospect. This type of depth can obscure some flaws, of which the Braves have several.”

Hmm. Can’t argue there. Too bad the same can’t be said for their fans. What’s wrong? Did Philly get tired of booing Santa Claus, so you feel the need to pick on a 4th place team?
As a team, city and of course the fans, Philly has a long ways to go in learning to act “like you’ve done it before”. 14 years of winning the division, and not one member of the Braves trash-talked the other teams in the division, the way Rollins did last year.
Class at it’s finest.

I think the phillies may be a little better than the braves but I think they will have a difficult time within the division this year. First your starting 8 really isn’t that much better.
Catcher – Braves
1B – Phillies
2b – Phillies but KJ is getting better
SS – Phillies only because of experience, Escobar is a very good SS
3b – Braves
LF – Even
CF – Phillies for now
RF – Even
SP – Braves (after Hammel there is nobody)
RF – Phillies (but Braves could surprise you)
Bench – Braves
Manager – Braves
The phillies are just an injury away from finishing third or fourth in the division.
I have an idea let’s the teams play the season and see who has the better team.
