Blanco just raises too many question marks for me. We have to keep Anderson for waiver issues but I would not be opposed to seeing Schafer and Anderson platoon in CF.

Redneck is a guy/woman who goes out and looks for fights and is a rude piece of crap that is a racist low life
TN BRIAN aka TIN BRAIN

sounds just like you on this board with your short temper and nasty mouth. I guess we all figure you are a typical Tennesseean. You certainly aren't helping to change the stereotype. If you aren't a redneck I don't know who is.

We've got some pitchers who can handle the bat here, don't we? Lowe looked good with that hit, and Kawakami looked damn good, for a pitcher, at the plate last night.

Lew (12:14 pm): "Tennessee DOES have more rednecks per square mile than any other southern state except for maybe Mississippi."

That's just East Tennessee, and only because so much of the terrain is purt near perpendicular.

MFin04He blew 5 games. Or caused 5 losses….stop playing technical terms of baseball.

what if we are just accurate instead? in one of his blown saves, he also got the loss, so that not two separate games, thats one. in his other blown save, the braves actually won the game, so he didnt cause a loss that time. the other two losses were when he came into the game with it tied... and the team lost.

so really, he "caused" 3 losses in 36 appearances. he really pitched pretty well despite coming off of surgery.

Knuckle Sandwich regarding last night's telecast...Dibble praised Francour at length about his new approach this spring and how he expects Frenchy to have a much better season than last year, plus he made several other comments complimentary to the Braves. I have always liked Dibble on XM and found him to be funny and insightful. I did not care for Carpenter at all and, yes, they are homers in building up their team for the new year, but I imagine that is the case with most teams' broadcasters.
The only complaint I have about last night was how much they talked about the Nat's depth at every position and how talented they are; it seems to me they are loaded with has-beens, rejects, and suspects and I don't expect them to be very good this year, but, then again, they did kick our butts last year!

Lew, I'll be 27 on Apr. 3. My girlfriend is getting me something right now and I can't figure out what...hopefully she's buying herself some sexy ligerie(think that's how you spell that) . Anyways, sorry...I got ya. All I'm going by is my life experience with guys in school and work. I really wasn't trying to educate you especially now that I know you've lived in the south before. You know your stuff...
