Anybody want to explain to me why:

A) mlb would have a link to listenting to gameday audio under the headline with the Braves game, yet NOT have it on gameday audio today. Essentially saying, “hey Braves fans. How about listening to another teams minor leaguers play some spring ball?”. Jerks.

B) I’ve re-upped my game day audio subscription, and CANNOT find a way to “bookmark” the game day audio “home” page. When you click on the link on the Braves page it takes you to the “sign up” or renew page, and wants credit card info. I’ve already given it to them. When you finally DO find the area in which you can choose your games, and try and bookmark it, it bookmarks THAT DAY on the calendar.

I realize I’m setting myself up for some slams here, but am I and idiot or what? It seems to me it was MUCH easier to deal with last year and the year before. Not to mention that MOST spring training games were on the radio last spring, in fact almost all of them were if memory serves me correctly. Got me through the day at work, and allowed me to “get to know” some of the kids before the season started.

I’m guessing Bud Selig is to blame. A-hole. :-)

And lastly: “Do you think Frenchy gets special treatment? Why do you insist on rewarding failure?”

Fact is, the Braves do not have too many SPs, Wren did not acquire too many SPs in the offseason, and the Braves will be awfully glad they got all three of their offseason SP acquisitions. And Glavine. And they’ll wish they had kept Smoltz.

Frenchy shouldn’t be playing golf right now….golfing messes with your baseball swing. Golfing while trying to figure out your swing and implement a new approach against live pitching probably isn’t a good idea until the damn thing is enshrined in your muscle memory.
