Don’t miss the Procter & Gamble coupon circular that came out in the AJC last Sunday with $85 in coupons. Combine these coupons with Procter & Gamble sales and promotions at many stores this week. For example, Kmart has a promotion that gives you a $10 reward coupon when you spend $30 on participating P&G products. If you shop at a Kmart store that doubles coupons, you’ll save even more. Check with your store to learn more about its specific coupon policy.

Binders, folders, storage: Take advantage of $153 of organizational items that are free after rewards at Staples this week. You’ll pay full price at the register, but you’ll get 100 percent of the price back in your Staples Rewards account, which works like store credit and is paid out quarterly. Keri: Rite Aid has Keri Lotion (15 ounce) priced at $5.99. Use the in-ad coupon on the back page of the store flyer to get $5 off, for a final cost of 99 cents. There is a coupon for $3 off two from the Oct. 14 SmartSource circular if you want to get two, but the store coupon says limit one store coupon per customer. If you bought two with the store and newspaper coupon together, your average cost would be $1.99 each.

Glade candles: Rite Aid has Glade jar candles on sale for $2.99 each. Use the $1.50-off-two coupon from the Dec. 2 SmartSource circular to pay $2.25 each. You will get a $2 +UP Reward on two, so your net cost will be $1.25 each.

7 Up: Rite Aid has 7 Up or Diet 7 Up 12-packs on sale for $3.33 each. You will get a $3 +UP Reward when you buy three, so your net cost will be $2.33 each.

Jam, spices, evaporated milk, cookies, rice: Look for Publix’s new “Happy Holidays” coupon circular in the AJC and in store racks. Combine Publix store coupons with manufacturers coupons when possible to increase your savings. The circular has a $1 Smuckers jam store coupon, and there is a 35-cent manufacturers coupon in the Nov. 4 RedPlum circular, which Publix will double to 70 cents. Total savings, $1.70 per Smuckers item.

Use the 50-cent McCormick spice coupon from the Dec. 2 RedPlum circular to pay only 99 cents for selected varieties, including ground ginger, allspice, poultry seasoning, cinnamon, chili powder and cream of tarter. I’ve never seen cream of tartar for 99 cents!

When you’re finished with the turkey dinner leftovers, you may want eat dinner out for a change of pace. Use coupons from the Nov. 18 SmartSource circular to save at local restaurants — find coupons for Moe’s Southwest Grill for either $2 off any $10 purchase or more, or a free entree with the purchase of one entree and two 32-ounce drinks.

Also find coupons for Folks, Logan’s Roadhouse and Chuck E. Cheese. This also is the time of year that restaurants offer bonus gift cards when you purchase gift cards. Even if you aren’t giving restaurant gift cards as a gift to someone else, it makes sense to buy gift cards for yourself at your favorite restaurants to get the free bonus card.

Find a 75-cent coupon for Nestle Toll House morsels and a 55-cent coupon for Dixie Crystals sugar in the Nov. 4 SmartSource circular. Find a 35-cent coupon for Pillsbury frosting, cookie or quick bread mixes, a 55-cent coupon for Eagle sweetened condensed milk, four coupons for Domino sugar items and three coupons for McCormick extracts in the Nov. 4 RedPlum circular.

KMART

Free eggs with membership rewards: Kmart Shop Your Way members can get a free dozen large eggs when you buy $20 or more of health, beauty or grocery products. Members also can get a free cosmetic bag ($6.99) when you spend $30 or more on holiday fragrance, nail or cosmetic gift sets.
