I just got a giftcard to this site from drugstore.com, in fact I just used it this morning.
VERY limited selection of restaurants, and some black out certain days. Some have limits, for example the one I finally bought had a $37.50 limit so you have to spend more than the $25 in order to use it. One restaurant you could only get $5 certificates and you could only use one a month.

I just got a 50 dollar card for five dollars through my credit card and discovered the fine print. You have to go online and get a coupon in effect, but the restaurants have a minimum purchase and the discount is limited so it is not all that good. I amusing mine for a five dollar discount with a minimum ten dollar plurchase which is 50% discount if I can get ten dollars worth. But it is only good once a month. And other places have an even higher minimum with their offer.
It is not like a gift card at all, but actually a pretty good discount, but not full coverage. There are several restrictions and it is not as good as they make it sound before you get the details.

Yea, I hardly ever use Restaurant.com anymore. They have so many
rules of when/how to use their “gift certificates”. I have like 8 gift certificates that I am not even trying to bother to use.

Great input. I’ve heard similar concerns about restaurant.com gift cards before. Haven’t used them myself, but did notice quite a few limitations. Thanks for the helpful comments!

Also, you can usually buy a $25 restaurant.com gift card for between two and five dollars, so the value is pretty low. But I have used them before, and they can save you money as long as you understand the restrictions on the one you are planning to purchase.

Seems there’s always a catch to practically everything. If it says “free”, better check it closely. Also hate and will not buy anything on these TV items where it says they will send you a second one if you pay separate P&H. That P&H is usually almost as much as the cost of the item. It costs them no more to handle and ship two than it does one. That’s a gimmick just to sell two of them. Think they would sell more if they dropped these stipulations.
