Sooooo — my final giveaway of 2012 has arrived.
For this one, I’ll choose two winners at random.
One will receive a Nautica Aqua Rush gift set for men containing eau de toilette, after shave balm, shower gel and body spray. This fragrance contains notes of coriander, clary sage and amberwood and is perfect for the “adventurous” man.
The second winner will receive the latest fragrance from Jimmy Choo — a limited-edition parfum that is a bolder take on the signature eau de parfum. It has notes of tiger orchid, candied orange, sandalwood and patchouli.
To enter, leave a comment telling me your favorite “drug-store” fragrance.
Back in the 70’s, it seemed like everyone’s mom, aunt or grandmother wore Jean Nate (including mine.) At some point we would all drown ourselves in it thinking we’d smell sophisticated. Apparently Revlon changed the formula and reviews say it no longer smells the same, but thinking about it brings back lots of memories!
Contest ends at 5 p.m. today! Winner announced tomorrow by noon!

Exclamation by Coty, – Cologne Spray for women
It is a fun, light scent that is for anyone’s fragrance budget. The bottle is clever and cute.
It’s retro and can spin you back to the late 1980’s.

The Samba Sun perfume, often found at Walgreens, is a nice light perfume, especially for the summer time. It is not that expensive and can be used lightly for a flowery yet pleasant scent. I would absolutely love to win the Jimmy Choo’s one, I am in need of a new perfume, desperately!

My mom always had a bottle of either Jean Nate or Enjoli (the one with the commercIal.. ’cause I’m a wooooooooman, Engoli). For me, I would always get a bottle of English Leather.. because my aunt loved the smell.

Happy Holiday!! My favorite drug store scent is Baby Soft- May sound a little silly and definately a “back in the day” item, but it smells so soft and girly. I brought my 10 yr old some a few months back and she thinks she is doing something calling it her signature fragance- lol. I smell her and think about the good days when I was growing up.

All time favorite in the late 80’s for high school girls was “Primo”. Why buy “Giorgio” when you got a lot more for less?

CkOne is still the best! Started wearing it in the 90’s as a teenager, when they had Kate Moss and models with an androgynous look and the scent was so incredibly “cool,” yet I’ve been wearing it ever since! It is fresh and light, with citrus notes, never overpowering, and you have to be close to the person to actually smell it.

My favorite drug store fragrance…well when I was a litle girl, my mom would buy the designer imposters “If you like Giorgio you’ll love our Primo!” It was a body spray. I thought it smelled soooo good. I miss smelling it, she used to wear it all the time.
