Combine that with the coupon for 75 cents off two from the Nov. 4 SmartSource circular to pay $1.62 each at the register. You will get 1,000 Balance Rewards points with two, so your net cost will be only $1.12 per bag. That’s a stock-up price for holiday baking.

Colgate, Gum: Walgreens has Colgate Total toothpaste Advanced or Gum Defense (4-ounce size) on sale for $3. Use the 50-cent coupon from the Dec. 2 SmartSource circular to pay $2.50 at the register. You will get a $2.50 Register Rewards coupon, so your net cost will be free.
Axe and toys: Walgreens has Axe Personal four-piece gift sets on sale for $9.74. Use the $3.75 coupon from the Dec. 2 SmartSource circular to pay $5.99 at the register. Use the toy in-ad coupon on the front page of the circular to save $4 on all toys priced at $9.99.
Rite Aid deals
Mars, M&Ms: Rite Aid has Mars and M&Ms bagged candy (9.9- to 12.6-ounce bags) on sale for $2.50 each. Use the $1-off-two coupon from the Dec. 2 coupon circular to pay $2 each at the register. You will get a $1 +UP reward on two, so your net cost will be $1.50 per bag.
Candy canes: Rite Aid has Bob’s candy canes (12 count) on sale for $1 each. You will get a $1 +UP Reward on two, so your net cost will be 50 cents per box.
Morsels, cookie mix and more: Rite Aid has selected baking ingredients on sale for $2 each with a +UP Reward of $2 when you buy $6 worth of items. Combine coupons to stock up.
For example, if you bought two bags of Nestlé Toll House morsels (12-ounce bag) and one Betty Crocker cookie mix pouch (15.25- to 18.3-ounce packages), you could use the coupon for 75 cents off two Nestlé products from the Nov. 4 SmartSource circular and the coupon for 40 cents off one Betty Crocker coupon from the Nov. 18 SmartSource circular.
You would pay $4.85 at the register and get a $2 +UP Reward for a net cost of $2.85, or only 95 cents per item. Limit three +UP offers per household. Other items include Sunmaid Raisins, Quaker Oats, Eagle Brand condensed milk, Ocean Spray Craisins and Domino sugar.
Energizer: Stock up on batteries at Office Depot. Join Worklife Rewards to earn 100 percent back in rewards when you buy Energizer Max Alkaline batteries AA and AAA-16 count package, value $13.49. Limit two of each item per member per day. If you were to buy two packages, your cost at the register would be $26.98 plus tax, and you would get $26.98 in your Worklife Rewards account. You’ll receive your balance as store credit on a quarterly basis.

Combine that with more manufacturers coupons and store sales to really save. Twelve-pack cans of Coca-Cola products are on sale for $3 each with the in-ad coupon when you buy two. Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes (10.5-ounce boxes) are on sale for $1.98. Use the coupon for $1 off three from the Nov. 11 RedPlum circular to pay $1.65 per box. Fisher Price toys are 25 percent off, and fleece bathrobes are on sale for $5. All detergent is on sale for $4. Use the $1 coupon from the Nov. 11 RedPlum circular to pay $3.
