Cyber Monday: The deals

By now you may be totally over the whole shopping thing, but Cyber Monday doesn’t care.

In fact, by most retailer accounts, the Monday once devoted to online shopping is now “Cyber Week.” Kohl’s and Target, for example, are both advertising Cyber Specials for the entire week.

Maybe you’ve been prepping for this all month. Maybe you started your online shopping during Black Friday. Maybe you’re just firing up the computer this morning  — whatever the scenario, here’s a sampling of the deals a few major retailers have listed for Cyber Monday:

Belk: Belk is running three days of doorbusters which include 50 percent off Sperry slippers for men and women; 50 percent off the entire stock of leather coats from Michael Kors, Buffalo and Via Spiga and $59.99 for Weight Watchers 10 -pc cookware set. Some exclusions apply to the 20 percent off cyber sale discount.

Dell: Dell is offering Cyber Monday doorbusters every three hours beginning Monday at midnight. They include the new Inspiron 15 for $389.99 and the Inspiron 660s for $349.99. Both are available in limited quantity and come with free shipping.

H.H. Gregg: Nikon Coolpix, $79.99; Sony  portable DVD player, $99; 43-inch Samsung HDTV, $379.99. Get an additional 10 percent off plus free shipping.

Kohl’s: Get an extra 20 percent off everything at Kohls.com and free shipping on items including 7-piece comforter sets priced at $99.99; Men’s Bulova watches, $139; $30 women’s boots and cashmere sweaters for women,$37.99 and men, $69.99.

Macy’s: Two-piece Queen mattress set, $247; 3/8 t.w. diamond stud earrings, $169; and a 76-inch tufted velvet sofa, $599. Macy’s offers free shipping on orders over $75.

Hi Nedra – here are a few awesome deals I found: 6pm (outlet for Zappos) has a rare coupon code for 10% off your purchase, Cost Plus has 20% off site-wide (applies to sale), and The Children’s Place is offering 30% site-wide with free shipping. You can see the top 7 that Coupons.com picked here: http://blog.coupons.com/shop-the-7-best-cyber-monday-sales/

Don’t forget to check out comparison sites like http://idealchooser.com before making an online purchase. You will be surprised at how often “great” deals are far from giving you the best price.

Some of the Hottest Items This Holiday Season Are Android Tablets… and here are a few tablet deals on brand new models released in November — One of the first resellers to carry these models is a site called TabletSprint – the Novo 7 Flame – a 7″ Android tablet that’s available for $189 and offers more features than the Nexus 7- which in comparison sells for $249… The Novo 7 Flame 32GB includes a 1280×800 High Resolution screen, a powerful Dual Core CPU/1.6 GHz, 32GB Memory, MicroSD portable storage, an HDMI connection to your TV with full 1080p (HD) that’s great for movie downloads; Two Quality Cameras – a 5 MegaPixel camera with video recording and AF & Flash and a 2 MegaPixel Webcam; Plus Bluetooth, Ethernet, WiFi and an option for 3G with a USB adapter. There’s also a 10-inch version released November 15th… the Novo 10 Hero for $225. Both these models are made by Ainol Electronics, which received a “Best Tablet of the Year” award at CNET Consumer Electronics Show 2012 —

The Novo 7 Legend also launched this week (also available through TabletSprint) and is the first quality “$100 TABLET” available from any major brand… with many of the same features as the higher end Novo 7 Flame — TabletSprint also offers in December two new tablets with 3G Wireless built in — the Pipo 763… a 7″ Android tablet for $199, and the Pipo M8 for $279, a higher-end, full size 9.4 inch model with a 1280×800 high resolution screen along with GPS & Bluetooth.

Another new model available in December is the W30 HD – by Ramos Technology — a 10 inch tablet for $279 that takes on the Nexus 10 and iPad with equal features at nearly half the price — and includes the latest Quad Core performance powerhouse, the Samsung Exynos 4212. 1.4 GHz processor; as well as a high resolution, 1920 X 1200 Liquid Crystal screen (comparable to Apple Retina display).

TabletSprint also offers a nice perk — a FREE 3G/4G 500MB monthly data plan with full internet access/VoIP calling in the U.S., that works with all tablets they carry and each model offers the latest technology and all models are certainly worth checking out and comparing to other major brands –
