Coupon Mom: Deals on dining out, Starbucks, chocolate and more

Forget leftovers, dine out

When you’re finished with the turkey dinner leftovers, you may want eat dinner out for a change of pace. Use coupons from the Nov. 18 SmartSource circular to save at local restaurants — find coupons for Moe’s Southwest Grill for either $2 off any $10 purchase or more, or a free entree with the purchase of one entree and two 32-ounce drinks.

Also find coupons for Folks, Logan’s Roadhouse and Chuck E. Cheese. This also is the time of year that restaurants offer bonus gift cards when you purchase gift cards. Even if you aren’t giving restaurant gift cards as a gift to someone else, it makes sense to buy gift cards for yourself at your favorite restaurants to get the free bonus card.

For example, Moe’s Southwest Grill will give you $5 in Moe Bucks when you spend $25 on gift cards. On Black Friday only, Logan’s Roadhouse is giving $10 in Logan Bucks with every $25 in gift cards purchased when you use the coupon on the back page of the Nov. 18 SmartSource circular.

Wake up with Starbucks

Get a $5 Starbucks gift card when you buy three Starbucks or Tazo products and send in your receipt and UPC labels. Go to Starbucks to get the rebate form. Walgreens has Starbucks 12-ounce ground coffee on sale for $7.99. You will get 500 Walgreens Balance Reward points worth 50 cents, so your net cost will be $7.49 per bag, or $5.82 per bag when you factor in the $5 Starbucks card savings.
