Free Ice Cream

From noon- 8 p.m. today,  Atlanta-based Carvel Ice Cream will give away free junior sized soft serve cones. In addition, in partnership with the Red Cross they are selling coupon books for $3 with proceeds to benefit Superstorm Sandy relief efforts.  The coupon books have a $30 value.You do not have to buy a coupon book to get your free cone.

Starbucks BOGO

During the Buy One, Share One Event at Starbucks, buy one holiday drink and get one of equal or lesser value for free. This event runs today through Sunday from 2 – 5 p.m. at participating metro area stores.

Free Caregiver training

In 1983, President Ronald Reagan designated November National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month. This month, caregivers and family members can sign up for free in-person caregiver training sessions throughout the metro area sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care.
